The Solitary,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The solitary (Hardcover)
Shared my table in airport with gal who turned out to be Lynn Hall, author of youth books. I'd not read youth in years but started hers as soon as I returned home. The Solitary was the first of her many books I've read and I wish every teemager could read this one. So very interesting how a young girl finds herself on her own trying to survive in an old house in the country, finding ways to earn money to live, learning to "read" people to make decisions as she tries to protect herself. A real can't-put-it-down book!
