I was really excited about this bag because of all the great reviews. The reason I am returning it is that when it is packed with stuff, if you let go of the handle the whole bag tips over. It will not stand upright on its own. I already own a cheap carry-on bag with the same problem so I decided to splurge and get something of high quality that had the legs in the right place so it would not tip. This one tips even worse than my cheap bag from Target! I am very disappointed. Some other things: the color is very different than the picture. The "tan" is a medium brown, not light tan. Also, I agree with the reviews saying it is heavy even when empty. Fine for when rolling, but to go up the occasional staircase or broken escalator may be challenging for some. For the weight, you would expect a much larger bag that could hold more. This bag is made up of a million little compartments to hold phones and pens and computers and credit cards, etc, and all those holders add bulk and weight. There is not much room for anything else after all the holders and dividers. This bag would be perfect if it had fewer dividers and compartments and if the legs on the bottom were positioned so that the bag would stay upright rather than fall over.

This product is great if you have to do a lot of traveling. The wheels and extendable handle make it ideal to get through busy travel centers. Weighs approximately 8 lbs empty, so with all the added items, it can get heavy. So if you must carry this bag full verses using the rollers, it may not be ideal for your needs. It looks very professional, so is a great product for personal and business use. Has a lot of room for laptop and additional items needed for travel and business.

The product arrived on time and in good condition. It is a nice soft leather briefcase with good quality zippers, wheels, handles, shoulder strap and extension handle. A great buy for the money. Includes sleeve for laptop (would fit 15" fine but not my 17"; not important to me) and a little bag for laptop sundries like power cord. Lots of pockets and dividers makes this bag a perfect mobile office. I use it everyday and it takes it. Highly recommended.

First, I do not recommend that you load your bag as heavily as I do. I tend to add items weighing in around 60-65 pounds when all is said an done. This is the reason I purchased this bag.
The bag itself has a heavy leather outer shell, poly-acrylic-foam internals, great construction, heavy stitching, and a telescopic handle for what appears to be an ABEC bearing based wheel assembly (smooth roll).

You can fit the kitchen sink into the pockets; of which it has many that are large enough to hold nearly any item you would typically load into a computer bag.
I have been abusing this bag for over 2 years, and finally, the metal connectors on the strap broke due to the weight. (Note: because of heavy usage, I've gone through a strap every 6 months or so on other bags).

Because I like the bag, and wanted a matching strap,I called SOLO directly, pressed 1, for customer service, and recieved a service agent who took my number and address down and is shipping a new strap, free of charge. I was advised that the strap might not 'match' due to dyes' etc. But that the base color/target color (tan) is what would be sent as the replacement. Typically, this transaction would cost you 15-20 dollars from a 3rd party, adding 5 to 15 dollars shipping costs.

Excellent value, The bag's typical cost is competitive or better than comparable quality computer bags with rollers. But, I would have to give the nod to SOLO here, especially when you consider a no haggle experience for replacement parts, free of charge.

I just received this today, and am delighted!
The quality of the leather and the manufacturing are great, with well made seams and quality zips; the design and detail are fantastic, with many well-thought out pockets.
I've been looking for some time now for a rolling laptop bag that is both functional and stylish. I think the picture makes the leather look like its poor quality, the photo really doesn't do it justice.
It will look even better once the leather has worn a little.

Amazon as always did a great job getting the item to me. I had seen it in a local store for over $200+ on sale. When I looked it up online it was only $111. It is absolutely beautiful and the leather is a great quality. I needed a briefcase on wheels and it fit the bill. I would highly recommend this product and Amazon for free shipping!!

I like the reviewing process when it works this well - this bag was purchased based entirely on previous reviews. The bag looks and feels rich and is extremely well designed. The construction quality is far better than any other bag I found and draws amazed reactions about the price and compliments on the style.

I had been using a backpack to carry my computer and other "stuff". As I added to my collection of what I needed to take with me the backpack got heavier. And, I was looking for something that would allow me to use both hands without having to slip the backpack over both shoulders or lay it on the floor (especially in a restroom). I found the Solo case on Amazon. Based upon the reviews, I purchased the Solo Leather Rolling Laptop Case. I have not been disappointed.
It rolls easily, the handle is long enough and is not difficult to extend or contract. The case fits easily under a seat in a smaller regional-jet as well as in the overhead bins. It is a bit heavy but the rollers take care of that. I highly recommend this case.

Had this portfolio for four years now. It has withstood many trips around the country as well as hard every day use and continues to look wonderful and perform way beyond my expectations. Definitely worth the money.
