This review is from: SOME MEMORIES: Growing Up with Marty Robbins - As remembered by his twin sister, Mamie (Paperback)
Some Memories is a great book written by Marty Robbins twin sister Mamie. The book tells about growing up in the Arizona desert in the 1920s and 30s.They were extremely poor and their father was a drunk and a thief and couldn't hold a job for long.Besides Marty and Mamie their was six siblings and their mother.Their are many stories that should interest Marty Robbins fans. My only complaint is it's only 136 pages and I wish it was longer. I highly recommend this book! Wes Hansel

This book is fairly good, but the author seems to have some negativity towards Marty. I think if his sister Mamie had not passed away before the book was finished, there would have been less negativity.
