The Play5 has more fidelity than S1, sound is fuller. However with the pair of S1's you will get better stereo separation since you can place them further apart. The S1 sounds better than the Play3. I own them all, so speaking from first hand experience.

Sonos doesn't use bluetooth--it uses it's own Wi-Fi-based mesh network protocol. Within the Sonos mesh network, you can add pretty much as many speakers as you want, and they can all play the same thing, or different things. It's pretty awesome.

I have a 4000 square foot house. The main sonos unit is on the 3rd floor. I have several one plays around the 1st floor and they work great. Its all dependant on your wireless range. These babies are sweet to tuck into a corner and complement the 3 play or 5 play. System is awesome.

Hello. Answer to both questions is yes. The sonos app streams Pandora like a charm. The app also lets you control each sonos unit individually and set the volume level for each one independently. You can install the app on as many devices as you want so you can always "like" a song on your iphone and "dislike" another on your android tablet. Hope this helps!

The sonos soundbar will take optical audio in. At $700 for the soundbar and $700 for a sub you are looking at $1400 for a home theater setup. Another option is to use RCA audio output or some converter to a Sonos connect. That will retransmit your tv audio to other sonos devices. A sonos play5 also has a line in. Just look at what audio out you have on your tv and the different audio in of the three items I mentioned (playbar, connect, play 5). What I did was bought a sony soundbar from here for around $200 and a sonos connect. It sound really good and can play tv audio throughout all sonos components.

I have not looked at every piece of Sonos equipment but look at the pictures of the Connect, the power says 100-220 and 50/60 MHz. The bridge does not mention it but I would go to mfg website and post a question. On my iPad I cannot zoom in on the Play:5 all other pictures 5,3 and1 don't let you zoom in on power (http://www.amazon.com/SONOS-Wireless-Speaker-Streaming-Music/dp/B003CP0FUU/ref=pd_sim_e_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=0HQTEA0N2QRV10Y3H0SP) nor the Play:3 (http://www.amazon.com/SONOS-Wireless-Speaker-Streaming-Music/dp/B003CP0FUU/ref=pd_sim_e_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=0HQTEA0N2QRV10Y3H0SP. The Sonos Connect and Connect:Amp ARE 100-220 50/60 MHz. Again, contact mfg but not sure why these two products would be another rest that would be odd.
