I am remodeling a townhouse and purchased solid doors for many of the rooms. There was real potential of the hardware damaging the walls behind the doors as people swung them open so I searched locally and then online until I found this door stopper. I purchased one for every door. They are perfect! The magnet is strong enough so the door stays solidly in place until you want to shut it. And they are beautiful too.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made! When I enter the house with full hands, I just push the door back and it's as if I have my own personal butler holding the door for me! I can make trips to and from the garage with ease...and this is a heavy door! Great price, great buy...a "must-have" for all busy households!

The magnet is strong enough to keep the door opened in a strong breeze, which is the problem we were having when our whole house fan was on--it was sucking the air out so forcefully that doors were being slammed shut. This doorstop is attractive and effective.
