This item peforms the exact same function as the Pioneer cable, but costs about $25 less. Having used both, I can say that there is absolutely no difference in sound quality between the two. Save the money and get one of these.

When I purchased this product I had read some reviews saying that I should buy the Pioneer cable, however this is cheaper and I'm kinda glad I saved money and bought it.

I installed this myself on my Pioneer DEH-P6700MP head unit. The connecter fit snuggly in to the back of the receiver which was a relief, because I didn't want that falling out on me. I hooked up the RCA inputs to a RCA-to-3.5mm (1/8") audio connector so I could use my MP3 player in my car (I don't have an iPod). That all worked out awesome as well, everything fit tight, and work as planned - I could now get sound from my AUX input.

PS. It worked with my laptop as well.

Unfortunately, I no longer have this in my car since my entire center console was stolen -- but I enjoyed the product while it was in my possession. I hope who ever took my stuff enjoys it too...

I've used this for a couple of years now and haven't had a problem. Very happy that there's an alternative to the expensive one that pioneer makes. As far as I know there's not a significant difference in quality.

Works great. Super simple to install. Sound quality is really good. Its so nice to finally get the volume controls I was looking for while using my smartphone or mp3 player for music and podcasts. It even work taking calls on the phone while driving.

Received it from Amazon when promised. Virtually plug and play for the Pioneer head unit. All you need is a RCA to 3.5 mm female plug. Great price.

I recently bought this item and must say I havent had any problems so far! I do not see why anyone would spend the outrageous prices from Pioneer when you can get this at a reasonable price. It works exactly the same! ha!

Great product. It worked perfectly with the head unit that came in my used vehicle and the sound quality was amazing. Easy to install and to program the head unit.

This product is not hard at all to install, just note that you may want to attach an extender rca cable when you install to help you heep it straight behind the dash. (Also you dont have to hunt for the plugs among the mess of all the other wires behind the dash)

All in all a great product.

The title says it all. Took 15 minutes to install and cost me less $$ than Zune car pack.

i had to wait for this product for some reason was sent to the wrong shipping facility. when i did recieve product it was wrapped perectly and i got to work installing it. took no time at all and works great with my 120 gb zune into my pioneer deck. no need for cd's now.
