These speakers replace my stock Mustang speakers. They sounded much better, however to get the base out of them, you really need to have an amp. Otherwise these are great speakers for the price you pay.

I bought these as an economical alternative to replace the aging 5.25's in my Jeep. Once installed I found these to be a bit disappointing. The factory speakers that these "replaced" actually sounded better, with better bass and volume. I guess you get what you pay for.
