This power supply is one hard working device. I have noticed that the average lifespan of this device is 4 to 6 years in a warm and dusty warehouse environment, running a PC 24/7/365 days per year. Typically, after four years, the cooling fan is first to go out, then the rest of the electronics start to degrade as they begin to get hotter inside the supply enclosure. For a 300 watt power supply that won't let you down in harsh environments, this is the one to buy.
