I have HP SFF desktop with 250 Watt Power supply. Its got one PCI slot. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and this card runs in 1920 x 1080 (Full HD progressive) with no problems. I use this PC as HTPC. I am using this for about 6 months now. The thing that I did not understand is when I installed the drivers from Sparkle, Windows 7 gave 4.1, but when I installed drivers from nVidia, it gave 3.5. So, I uninstalled the drivers from nVidia and am using the drivers from Sparkle. I have a Blu-ray drive in it and it works great. I connect from PC to TV using DVI to HDMI cable [...] that I got from Amazon too. This is the reasonably priced card for my PC with HDCP (this is required to play Bluray discs). I connect the audio using analog audio connection. I do not play any PC games on this, so I cannot tell you about the games performance.

Adobe Flash programs in HULU or Windows Media Center's Internet TV have choppy video(does not happen on Youtube). But I do not think its the card's problem because when I stream the same flash videos on Windows Media player (installed with K-lite package) by opening through URL (streaming and not running from hard drive), it works fine. I cannot copy the URL for HULU. But can for some other web sites using Download Manager Add-on in Firefox.

I highly recommend this card for older PCs that has the option of only PCI. I am very satisfied with this. I have a same kind of PC that I want to use in my bed room. I ordered Zotac Nvidia ION card that got HDMI in it. It is a PCI-x1 card. I am still waiting for it. I will review that once I get that.

The card was as advertised and is performing well. The physical size was greater than expected and caused me to surrender a second PCI slot due to the width of the heat sink but I had an extra so I am good for now. This transformed my old 6350US with Integrated Extreme Graphics to one that can drive the 24" monitor we old folks need to see the fine print. It also delayed having to purchase new bi focals. I am pleased.

I've been using this product in my computer for over 2 years now. I only gave it a 4 start rating because it's a bit dated with it not being the newer PCI Express, though I got this product for a computer that only has regular PCI slots. It's been running quite well and with no real slowdown or loss in quality. I did receive a unit with a fan instead of a heat sink, so it was louder than I expected. I'm able to play some pretty high demanding games for such an old computer. Running a P4@3.00GHz with HT, I'm able to run some games that require a dual core processor at the least at low settings, so I feel that this older unit works pretty nice and even better with this card. Later upgraded from 1 to 2GB which also made it run better and plan on adding another 2GB whenever I have an extra $50 to throw into it. You can't find a better card for older PCI slots but if you have a PCIe slot, you're better off with getting the newer interface card.

Update (4/28/2013):
2GB more RAM and a 39" TV later and the card is still holding out as strong as ever. Throughout the 3 years I've owned this card, I've only had to clean it twice. Probably around the same time I posted up the first review, the card was starting to run extremely hot so I applied some Arctic Silver 5 to the GPU and it dropped 15-20C and my computer began running much quieter, too!
