This software literally only took 2 minutes to install, and it was completely undetectable. On the report side, very easy to customize to your preference of settings and delivery. Fantastic product, worth every cent.

The software works. But, what they don't tell you is that if you don't pay an additional $69.95 (in my case) per year, they will stop sending you the reports showing you any of the activity you purchased the software for.

Again, the product actually works, but I don't appreciate the "bait and switch" tactic or rather the "hidden fees" required to pay an extra $69.95 per year to continue to receive the Activity Reports for the computer you install eBlaster on.

Furthermore, they continue to send you a notice to renew the hidden annual fee instead of the usual Activity Reports until you either pay the hidden annual fee or uninstall the eBlaster software.

My wife and I have been very happy with this software. We installed it on the recommendation of some of her co workers when we became concerned about our teenage daughter's computer activity. I was surprised at how easy this software was to install and use.

When you install the program you tell it what email address you would like to receive your activity reports at; I used a free Yahoo address for this, and that's all there was to it. As soon as my daughter used her computer I started getting reports and a lot more.

You can choose to get the reports as often as you like, I chose every hour. You can also choose to get copies of all emails and chats, which I did. So, long story short, I see all her emails, chats, all the websites she visits, basically everything that happens on her computer.

You can see this activity anywhere you can access your email. It doesn't matter if I travel, am at work or what have you. If I can get to a computer or even my cell phone and check my email I can see what is happening on her computer.

I would highly recommend this program to any parent or employer who needs to know EXACTLY what their children or employees are doing on the computer.

I never seemed to find the time (or remember) to go check out what my kids were doing online. In my case I'm at work...in front of a computer all day so I do like the way eBlaster emails me reports of everything. I can tailor the reports to just email me what I'm interested in. That makes them really quick to review and I won't forget...they arrive in my inbox. In 5 minutes I had it up and running. I would recommend this to all parents.

I was very skeptical about this purchase, but needed to find something to put on my daughters laptop. I purchased directly from Spector. Their full money back policy is 3 days ... making me even more skeptical. I purchased and installed immediately, telling my daughter that i was just updating her Antivirus, afterall, you do need to add some file exceptions to your antivirus -- and the setup instructions give you the list -- if you do not do this, your antivirus software may uninstall the program. Once installed and configured in stealth mode, I handed the laptop over to my daughter and away she went on MySpace & Facebook. I had configured the settings to email me all activity every 60 minutes, and all web chat immediately. And sure enuf, I got the emails with all the information I was looking for. Very pleasantly surprised. The emails are very easy to read, they contain all usernames & passwords, links to profiles to which your child makes comments, key strokes, web email (from & to), and all chat dialogue - and more. Amazing. Worth every penny. Although, I dont see why you would need both Spector Pro & EBlaster .. I say choose one or the other ... with Spector Pro, you log in the the computer and look at the info, with EBlaster, the info is emailed to you ... I chose the email method as it is more convenient for me ...

I use this product every day to monitor my teenagers when they are at home on the computer and I'm at work. It's sends me alerts on my cell phone that let me know when they are getting into trouble. If I don't like the web sites they are looking at, I can block them using a nifty control panel on my computer at work, and the computer at home will not display those forbidden web pages any more. Without eBlaster I would have to unplug the computer until I get home. I can also check to see of they were playing games or doing their homework.

I recently purchase eblaster and just had to write a review.

Simply said "this software is AMAZING!" just install it on the computer or laptop you want to monitor, put in an email address where you want to receive your eblaster reports and your done. eBlaster takes over! Without anyone knowing a thing! You start receiving nicely formatted reports sent to your email.

The reports show activity broken down into categories that make it very easy to see exactly what you want. So if I need to know what my kids are surfing for on the web, it's right there for me. Even the date, time and the time they spent on each page. If I have concerns about who my kids are talking to on MySpace, I just focus on the MySpace section and all is revealed. Who they are talking to, what they are posting, on and on. It doesn't miss a thing.

Other features like the Instant Alerts copy me on every email they send or receive and the chat & IM alerts are also very powerful. There is also an online control panel to change common setting like how often you get reports, what you want to record and more.

Overall, this is a solid program. It records everything you need, pulls it all together into a polished report and sends it right to your email. It's automatic... You don't need to figure out how to use this or that...
it just does it, and does it right.

Buyer Beware
The software works great and is a good way to keep tabs on kids. You can see every website and keystroke typed.

The company is not very upfront about it being a subscription service.

I purchased 3 copies for my three kid's laptops. It was expensive but well worth it.

After a year I got the automated emails saying my "ultimate care" was about to expire and it would cost an additional $70 (per copy) a year.

The software is usless without the reporting feature.

The point is I do not feel they were very upfront with this detail and it was a surprise to me.

The cost benefit becomes more questionable when it is paid annually ($210 for 3 copies).

Eblaster is the worst program out there, besides that it has flaws and isn't reliable, they keep sucking money out of their customers.
every 2 years they disable the program and when you call they say you have to buy the latest version! i asked i would like to keep using the one i have, they said you have to pay for support, but old versions are being disabled!

This worked great... for one or two days. After uninstalling and then re-installing, gave me one day of reports then quit working. Very expensive product to quit working so soon. If it would have continued to work, I would say it's a great product. Since I haven't gotten it to work after each install I'm disappointed.
