Thin, light, smooth rubbery watch band
on August 4, 2012
I needed a general purpose band for a diving watch and wanted something thinner so it wouldn't bother my wrists while working and typing. This band works great for that. I have it on a rather nice looking dressy watch and it looks nice. It's not going to make a big statement but rather is a practical functional yet clean lines band.
The short end is 72mm long,
The long end is 115mm long.
The clasp is stainless steel and the flat catch fits nicely into the rubber slits holding it securely. I have a large wrist and it still fits with a couple of slots left for larger wrists. When it says 2 "extra" spring bars that means it comes with 2, not 4. Most bands do not come with any so I suppose that's what they meant. Perhaps if they took out the word "Extra" it would be a more precise as I expected 4 bars.
I trade around bands on my watches, this is one I'm using whenever I'll be in the water and want something that won't get ruined. My leather bands were coming apart even though they came on water rated watches. If it's too hot out, I don't want a rubber band as I can get sweaty with it, but in normal conditions this one works great.
4 stars, I like it but it's not love here, just a simple low cost watch band doing the job
