5.0 out of 5 stars This is such a fun toy!
This is a great toy! I love the way it flaps it's wings! It is so cute, and if you take the wings off, it can be a cricket! It has two seats, one for the little creature it comes with, and one for another barbie. The only bad thing is that the wings are very, very hard to put on. But ovarall, it is a great toy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Butterfly Doesn't Flutter By, May 15, 2005

I was enchanted by this gorgeous butterfly and instantly bought it for my 5-year-old daughter. What a disappointment to discover that the legs fall out just about each time she picks it up. After much fussing with pushing the legs in as tightly as I could and returning it to her, we discovered that the wings keep falling off! It's very pretty, and it now sits on the shelf, but it's a great waste of money if your child actually wants to play with it.

This toy is brilliant! The wings ARE hard to put on, but after that, this toy is beautiful!

I have just cleared out my room into 'fairy princess' theme and my Daddy bought me this back from france!

It is beautiful! The wings are pinky purple plastic with glittery material dyed into all rainbow colours with glitter on!

The sprites body is green with little flowers on the feet and it doesn't come with Elina doll. The included sprite is called Honey and the butterfly is called Hue.

Hue's body is covered with leaves and vines to make 2 seats, 2 footrests and lots of leg padding for your dolls. It can fit Bibble in the front. Mine is on display, but always ready for me to take off and play with.

All around Hue's neck, there is green fluff, and for the first 2 flaps the fluff will shed, then it stops. Hue has purple eyes and bendy antennaes. He is really sweet!

The doll has purple hair with pink streaks and she wears a pink flower bonnet and glitter pink flower skirt!

Finally, my Barbie's have a way of travelling!

The sprite is cute! (She is not a fairy because she doesn't have wings)

I don't have Elina or Bibble but Sparkle Fairies and Barbie's with straight legs fit on the back seat!

I love my new toy.

I haven't even had it for an hour yet!

I reccomend this toy SOOOOOOOOOO much!

Bye!

Daughter recieved this as a sixth birthday gift and was enchanted- mind you, she is an only child and a girly girl- so not real rough on things. This is so poorly designed that after receiving it at a 7pm party, by 10:00 am the next day there was one wing no longer working due to poor engieering. Boo, hiss, Mattel!

We just got this toy yesterday. My daughter loves the movie so we were excited to go home and play with it right away. It was really hard to get the wings on all 4 times I did it before I decided to put them away. They fall off within 2 minutes of play. 2 legs fell off within 10 minutes of play as well. We are using it as a bug. On the up side, the little doll that comes with the butterfly is cute and functional. There are plenty of great toys out there. Don't bother with this one. It is total junk.

My 5 year old daughter picked out this excuse for a toy as a birthday present. She LOVES it, but asks me every few minutes to pop it's stupid wings back on. If you look at it's wings, they'll fall off. This is probably the most useless, junky toy I've ever bought.

I haven't had any problems like other reviewers have! The legs stay on fine, so do the wings. The wings are pink and literally massive! I am 10 years old and I love to play with my Barbie's and Shellies! Hue has a nice feathery collar and silky, glittery, multi-coloured bits in between the wings! And the leaf seats are SO SWEET! I am the ULTIMATE Barbie fan! Here are the Barbie's I've got:
Barbie as Annika (Barbie Magic as Pegasus)
Bubble fairy Christie
Fashion Fever Barbie
Aqua Barbie
Pheobe and Roxxi (Barbie's named after Bratz twiinz!)

Beach Barbie
French speaking Barbie (REALLY SPEAKS!)
