Sandman is a great book! If you are looking for something easy and fun to read and enjoy the serial killer/crime genre, then this book is for you. One review of this book stated that it was too graphic. I disagree. As a retired police officer, I have seen some pretty gruesome scenes over the last 24 years. I did not find the descriptions to be gratuitous in the least. Instead, the writing revealed a keen knowledge of homicide investigations and police work in general. MacDonald's vivid descriptions added to the story and in no way distracted from it. The work itself is well written and nearly perfectly edited; a rarity in today's world. Keep writing Morgan MacDonald, you rock!
A THRILLER YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN! By Jordan
I was instantly hooked. While being a pharmacy student heading into my 5th year, working, and the gym, I still managed to finish this book in 2 days. The character development and style of writing were truly enticing in such a way that I found myself staying up late to find out what happened next, simply unable to put the book down until I was finished. Page after page I never lost interest. I've been raving about this book! I can't wait for Morgan to write another, I'm sure it will be just as riveting with as many nail biting scenes as SANDMAN.
