This review is on the order, not the glasses; the glasses are great. I ordered the glasses previously in the smoke color for my husband. He loved them. He didn't have to take off sunglasses to put on reading glasses. The foam padding eventually came loose, and he asked for another pair for Christmas. I ordered them but received the glasses with clear lenses. Contacted Amazon customer service, received a refund, but of course had to pay return shipping. Specifically told customer service rep that I was reordering but really hoping the same thing didn't happen again. Well, yes, you guessed it, the same thing happened again. Contacted customer service again - bottom line could return again for full refund and pay return shipping yet again or keep the glasses for a $15 refund. I decided to keep them and hope that he can get some use from them. Asked the customer service rep to check the order page as clear lenses were not even an order option, plus 3 pairs of glasses shown but unable to zoom on each individual pair. Obvious that the rep did not do that, just take partial refund or return. I do not feel that anyone will take the time to investigate the error or correct it. I am a FREQUENT Amazon customer.

I use the amber lens version of these glasses for bicycle riding and racing. I have experimented with many types of glasses, some that cost over $100, and these are the best. One good point is that the amber lens cuts the bright sunlight but also allows me to see the road when it is shady or cloudy. Also, the enclosed shape of lens and frame does a great job of cutting out the wind at high speed. I can't explain why, but these glasses are less prone to fogging up than other cycling glasses I have used. The bifocal setup works well. I can read my tiny bike computer perfectly and don't even notice the magnification lens. They can also handle a lot of abuse, getting dropped on the pavement and mangled. They look kind of goofy and I get teased a little at bike races for not having the cool Oakley look, but I think it gives me an edge to look a little demented, like Jack Nicholson in "The Shining".
This is my third pair. They are much more sturdy than other inexpensive bifocals I have used but there are a couple of issues. In my first two pairs, after extended use and abuse, the nose cushion pieces fell off and also the overall fit of the glasses became loose on my head. However, I am happy to keep buying them because they are inexpensive and therefore I don't mind getting a new pair every year or so.

Good for woodwork,
This review is from: SPORTSTER Safety Goggles with Bifocal Reading Lens Fit under a Helmet - Read while you work or play in the sun!, +1.50, Clear Lens (Health and Beauty)
Since I do woodwork, I needed safety googles to keep airborne dust out of my eyes. I also needed a reading lens to do that fine work. Since these googles have the neoprene around the frame they do a good job of keeping that blowing dust out of my eyes. Would recommend them to all woodworkers.
