The cable and car charger for my LG Rumor (LX260) arrived on time and was basically what I was expecting. You can't beat the price and both items were in great condition and worked fine.

I didn't get any mileage from the included CD which contains ringtones and other stuff as well as web links for USB drivers for the cable from LG. The Rumor doesn't really require the driver if operating in mass storage mode since it behaves just like any USB flash drive. Using this mode, images and videos can be copied off the microSD card in the phone.

Images can even be placed on the phone as long as they are 176 pixels in width and placed in the DCIM\100LGCDF directory on the card. This is the same directory to place 3gp2 videos for playback on the phone.

I bought DataPilot for this phone to transfer my contacts and the USB driver from Susteen worked just fine with this cable.

I bought this charger set because it was a tiny fraction of the cost of a real LG car charger for my Rumor phone. I was skeptical that it would work, but it has been a great buy. The charger does its job and charges my phone in the car, and the USB cable allows my phone to connect to my computer. I can't vouch for the CD, however, because the CD is for PCs only and I have a Mac. As far as I can tell, the CD isn't needed anyway, because you can manually place data onto your phone from your computer without the CD's software.

The charger has given me no problems. It does seem to be made of a lesser quality than the "real" LG charger in that the two halves of plastic that hold the charging mechanisms inside sometimes come apart a little bit on my own charger. The halves hold together on the bottom, but I have noticed the seam on the top has a little bit of a gap where I can see inside. It still charges fine, however.

The connector fits my phone perfectly, for both the charger and the cable.

All in all, this charger has worked out fine for me. It does what I expected at only a fraction of the cost.

I got this to transfer music on my son's LG Rumor. The car charger was just a plus, not something I needed but nice to have I suppose. The CD that comes with it is not useful at all for the Rumor but I knew that. I checked it out anyway and sure enough no support for the Rumor and nothing on there of use anyway even if it did. The cable is able to transfer music however it does not also charge the phone. I was disappointed about that fact. I'm not sure why it doesn't but I'm sure it was plugged in properly. However, if you only need it to transfer data then the cable is fine.
