Kids get Hooked!,

I bought this game for my three kids. Yes, this game is gross, throws vomit and what not. It's alittle too complicated for my five year old but my eight year old son gets hooked on it periods of time for days and I literaly have to pull him away and unplug the tv. I bought this game at gamestop for $4 and had to order another on Amazon for my nephew after he got hooked to my sons game because I could not find another copy anywhere!!! Even the boys in the neighborhood hung out for three hours on my son's birthday after he got this game playing it. Its adictive because they get hooked trying to find this kids father and arent even sure where to go. Excellent game for the kids if you can look past the throwing of the vomit.

I am only half the way through this game. I have had to consult a walkthrough at times as it is not always immediately obvious what the next step to take is. There are little people along the way to give you clues but they can be vague at times. The game is challenging in many respects and a little gross at times.
To start out you have a friend that hangs around behind your back and will vomit on command. This does away with the antimatter that is splattered all about by your constantly reproducing enemies. The antimatter will let you fall in and die. The object is to get to the crystal at the end of the level and bring it back to your father. He, in turn, gives you another skill which you will require to obtain other crystals. It is progressively difficult in both dexterity level and complexity. There are not a lot of long cutscenes to get in the way. Drawing the symbols on the doors is difficult but not impossible to match the scroll. That is a little frustrating at times. Also, the camera is not controllable and often not friendly. You will find yourself running around in little circles sometimes to get a view of something. Except for those two very frustrating issues it is very challenging and even occasionally fun.

We rented this game, I found it odd that the controls are somewhat complicated, making it too difficult for little kids, but the plotline and gameplaying were very simplistic so that older kids and adults wouldn't enjoy it. Despite my figuring it out and showing my kids how to play, They just can't get into it. And the only reason I was playing was to learn teh game and show them. I didn't enjoy it.
