Marija Norušis earned a Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of Michigan. She was SPSS's first professional statistician. Dr. Norušis has been on the faculties of the University of Chicago and Rush Medical College, teaching statistics to diverse audiences. An excellent book. Clearly written, plain english explanations. A fantastic reference book to have on the shelf
