I bought this holder because the holders that came with my Delphi Skyfi 2 were as cheap as you could get.

I've been very surprised by this. The suction cup is very strong. I've never had any problems with it coming loose, nor can I easily remove it without releasing the air lock. The flexible metal bar is very sturdy, so it stays in whatever position you put it in. It comes with a couple options to hook it up to the radio. Either a plastic plate that you can screw onto the back of your radio or a "hook" that slides into the hole that most XM/Sirius radios have on the back.

This is an excellent product for holding satellite receivers. The suction cup is very strong and stays in place. It's easy to install and it's versatile. Comes with a peel and stick base for mounting on a dashboard. I mounted it right to the windshield and it scarcely vibrates at all. In order to reduce vibration even further, I bent the arm so that the receiver rests on the dash itself.
I fully recommend this holder.

We've been looking for just this product in stores for quite some time with no luck. It's exactly what we wanted and it works beautifully, without blocking the windshield. We have a pretty high dash, so didn't want the radio on top of it. We also didn't want adhesive stickiness on the front of the dash. This is the ideal answer, and it stays put!

You can spend a lot more and not equal the usefulness of this little gadget. It's mostly plastic but it seems to work very well and is completely satisfactory for my purposes. I would not hesitate to buy another one if the need arose.

This product was easy to install, and I enjoy it much more than the last satellite radio car item I used. It is very sturdy. I haven't had it long, but the item stays on my windshield better than my GPS windshield mount. Great windshield mount!

I bought this windshield mount when the adhesive that came with my XM Satellite ONYX radio would not adhere to the dash of my 1999 Toyota Camry. I sent an email inquiry to The Mount Guys about which windshield mounts would work with my ONYX XM Radio. They promptly responded with suggestions (3 models). I now have an excellent set-up for my XM ONYX radio and am very happy with the functionality of the product and the customer service that I received from The Mount Guys.

I didn't want to use the "vent clip" that came with my XM portable radio for fear of damaging my car. I looked at windshield mounts at Best Buy and the price was more than twice what this cost. It's simple. It works. I have it mounted down low, so the radio is out of the line of vision. I can see what's playing. I used to have my XM radio sit on the console, with all the wires getting in the way. This is a wonderful solution! Get it!

Item arrived on time and exactly as described. Overall, I'm very happy with the product. Extremely sturdy - had to use both hands and some elbow grease to bend the gooseneck to where I needed it. Sort of wish I got the longer mount though since the car's windshield (Subaru Forester) is a little bit deep. I originally intended to mount it on the dash or over the glove box, so I got this 8.5" mount. Unfortunately, my car doesn't have any flat surfaces wide enough to attach the disk that came with the mount. So, it works out better mounted on the windshield, and is just slightly out of reach - have to lean forward to get to the XM dials (that's what the remote is for I guess). Highly recommend to anyone who needs a mount for their satellite radio. MUCH better than the P.O.S. air vent mount that comes standard w/ the XM radios.

I bought this mount to keep my satellite radio off my dash and out of line of sight while driving. I have it mounted on the left side of the windshield as far over is it will go. This mount is the best I have seen. It is still holding the same position with no give. The suction works great - and has not detached or slipped. Oh, and you can't beat the price.
