1.0 out of 5 stars Junk, February 10, 2009
This review is from: Westek SR120HCS 20-Watt Halogen Low Voltage Under Cabinet Light Kit, 4 Pack, White (Tools & Home Improvement)
The Westek light sets are junk. My set of three has gone through about 12 bulbs in 4 months of sporadic use. This doesn't include the bulbs whose electrodes broke off when trying to replace them. Buy something else.

There are better sets like this out there....with less wiring. But this set worked fine the first year until some of the light bulbs started not working. Thought they burned out, but actually if you tap the light it would come on. This worked for while, but then the tapping didnt work...had to take the cover off, and wiggle the bulb.
It has been 3 years, I bought 2 sets of 4...2 bulbs have burned out and I have to 'wiggle' a few to get them to light, but they barely work. The problem in my opinion is the light fixture itself, not the bulbs. It gets so hot, that the expanding and contracting going on, when on and off, distorts the socket that the 2 prongs from the bulb go into and good contact is lost, hence the flickering.
Mind you, these bulbs get HOT...real hot...got to be careful adjusting the bulb when it starts to do this flickering.
The bulbs are definitely bright enough...wife loves them.

All and all I got my monies worth I think.
I wish I didnt have to tap and wiggle bulbs for the last few years, but the 6 or 8 bulbs still work.
