They're brakes. They work well, though they weren't the easiest set I've ever had to install, it went very smoothly. Definitely appreciated the indexed caliper release when my wheel got a little bent up from a small accident. Also, they look pretty good.

Big increase in braking power,

These SRAM Rivals really provided a significant increase in braking power over the Tektros that my bike shipped with. With the OEM brakes, I had to apply the brakes in pulses to avoid an unpleasant squeaking and quick fade in braking power. That disappeared the minute I installed these. I'd highly recommend swapping this for OEM brakes.

I bought these to replace the stock Tektro brakes that came on my Cannondale CAAD9. I've been extremely pleased with there performace so far. I've put at least 300 miles on them since installation and I haven't made any adjustments to them yet. Installation was a breeze with the included instructions. I feel they were good value for what I paid for them also.
