Stree Racing Syndicate. This is defintely the best Street Racing game that has ever hit game consoles. You can rome around and do basically anything you want to. Trick out over 40 cars, Race for some girls,cash and better yet your opponents wheels. The only hing that is a downfall is how the car gets damaged. It's way better than Need For Speed Underground's (NFSU) and it also makes it very realistic, don't get me wong. But it makes the gameplay go down, because you hve to take money and go repair it. If you do not then your Horse power as well as overall car performance will go down.And car repairs can range from $189- $6,000. Overall I give this game a 4.999, only being downplayed because of the damage. If you are a true Street Racer or gmer. You would DEF-INI-TELY get this game.

As someone who's not a big fan of the racing genre and has mostly stuck to the "Ridge Racer" series for racing excitment, there was really only one thing that drew me to this title - the women. There's something politically incorrect yet disturbingly appealing and addictive about winning shallow women through fast racing, then keeping them in a warehouse and making them dance for you. If you're a male gamer, you probably know what I'm talking about. Thankfully, Street Racing Syndicate has enough racing goodness to make collecting these women rather fun.
This isn't a standout racer in any way - the graphics are above average and pretty, yet you don't have to look too far to see something prettier. The lack of speed is probably what will turn off most hardcore racers - it's fast, but nothing impressive. Still the cars handle well, and the tracks are laid out on an open-ended city that can be explored. Another part of the game is all about upgrades and customization in the garage - you won't be unlocking an insane amount of cars, but it's fun to add some personalization and try out different parts to see what works best. Really, the only nitpicks I have with the game are the menu text and save system. The text is a bit difficult to read in places, and the auto-save isn't explicit about when it actually saves: I'm presuming it saves after major races and events are cleared, but some indicator would've been appreciated. To conclude, if you're a better person than me and have passed that point in your life where collecting shallow girls has appeal, try another game. If you're a hardcore racing gamer, this probably isn't your title either. But if you're a novice who enjoys the occasional race and would like to build your own import harem, Street Racing Syndicate is the game to own.

I bought this game for my Gamecube after finishing Need for speed most wanted. I was looking for another good racing game. I read a few reviews and figured I would give this one a try.
I bought the game, brought it home, and started playing. I only played for about 5 minutes before I was so disgusted that I immediatley shut it off. I could not believe they charged me money for a game this retarded. When you first start up the game, you'll here the Pole Position theme from the Atari game systems. I know that makes me sound really old, but that is the best comparison I can think of for this game. Take the old pole position game, change the cars from indy cars to rice burners, and update the scenery to look somewhat like a city, and you've got SRS racing. The handling is horrible.(Pole Position) The graphics are nothing to shout about. The parts selection is slim. Why didn't anyone warn me about this game before I wasted hard earned money on it. In conclusion, save your money for a game that is worth it, unless you think 1970's video game technology is worth it. Even if you do, go buy one of the $15 plug and play joysticks from walmart to get a better quality game. 2115|R1YGG2JT5TSF66;2115|R7C5NCR8ZSX6J;2115|RY8UNWGEKN6CQ;
