Made from anodized aluminum, the SS-2x4A will lay out adjacent lines on all angles from 180 degrees through 85 degrees. This is the tool of choice when you need the convenience of the two-inch and the four-inch legs in one tool. Mortise and tenons, lap joints, finger and bridle joints, cross drilled dowel joints, haunched miter mortise and tenons, lapped mitersand the list goes on. There is not a faster or more accurate way to perform similar tasks in your shop. The hinge is custom turned from stainless steel, providing a smooth acting joint without slop.

Check out Lee Valley tools before you lay out the bucks for this one. It's a nice tool but kinda spendy. You can get saddle squares from Lee Valley for a lot less money. The adjustable angle is not something you will use much.
