This was so exciting to find. My grandparents used to have one of these at their cottage and it never failed to delight my brother and I. Granted, this was 30 years ago and we liked to play in the woods so while we weren't drooling idiots or anything, we might not have been exactly the most sophisticated but c'mon, even if you have an iPad, what little kid doesn't like a trick that jumps out at you. So, it looks like a can of nuts and the victim unscrews the cap and a long "snake" jumps out, fast and far. It used to be a big coil with a cloth snakeskin cover over it. I got it for my niece and nephew (who are also simpleton kids living on a farm in Mexico) and when I got it, I took it out of the package to show my husband after he'd heard me go on about how funny it was. The coil didn't even make it out of the can. It just sort of rose out and then fell limply over the edge. And it is now a plastic cover. I know, production costs have gone down everywhere but why bother making it if it doesn't even work anymore. I guess because a nostalgic person like me will buy it...once.

My nieces loved this. So much fun and it didn't fall apart for at least a year of constant playing with.
