This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
Joseph P. Farrell's The SS Brotherhood of the Bell continues the author's work - brought out in the so-called Giza trilogy and the "Reich of the Black Sun" - advocating that the general public has been deceived by its leaders for the better part of the 20th Century, and that the deception has been exacerbated in the new century. Mr. Farrell's contention is that there is an alternative doctrine of physics that - if studied and understood by experts and laymen - provides a general set of explanations for a variety of "mysteries" in our world such as UFOs. At the risk of grossly mis-stating the author's explanation, it seems to me that this "ether physics" is based broadly on the notion that our very environment is alive with energy rather than objects within the environment being the source of energy. The most notable result of this theory is that an object would be able to move through the environment by creating shifts in the ether. Call it whatever you wish, but this caused me to simplify the theory down to magnetic power...

Central to his premise is also the need to accept that - if ether physics are valid - then there has been a systematic and prolonged effort by those in power to hide this information from us. And, further accepting the credo that "knowledge is power" as the justification for such actions, one is directed by the author towards the conclusion that a worldwide entity larger than any single government is manipulating our lives.

Farrell contends that while ether physics is not a new theory. In fact, in his earlier books on the pyramids at Giza being sources of ether-physics-related power, this science is virtually antediluvian. It was, however, Nazi Germany and its links to the occult that caused resurgence in experimentation into ether physics in terms of its military potential. While discussing various technologies - as he did in his earlier book Reich of the Black Sun - the center-piece of this book is an alleged experiment that is more-or-less eponymous with the title of this book.

The bare details are this: the Germans were experimenting with high speed magnetic rotation of various elements. The results of these experiments are mysterious, deadly and, in some cases, contradictory, depending upon references. Core to this part of the story is published material from a Polish research named Igor Witkowski. He claims to have accessed documents that were held in the former German Democratic Republic but are now being accessed with the collapse of Communism. It is Witkowski's work - also cited heavily in Nick Cook's The Hunt for Zero Point - that is the basis for the bell-related information in Farrell's book.

All concerned conclude their stories with the scientific equipment and records being taken by SS Obergruppenfuehrer Hans Kammler, a real person who had virtual total control of the German secret programs in the 1944/1945 timeframe. But, with Witkowski and Cook are somewhat vague about what happened with the end of World War two, Farrell is adamant in his belief that Kammler and other former regime members were able to cut deals with all the allied powers and, in doing so, were able to establish themselves as an extra-national entity that operates to this day. This entity has been able to maintain itself by nefarious actions that, Farrell implies, may have included the assassination of John F. Kennedy!

As part of this startling allegation, Farrell continues on to presents his view that the entity that is controlling and manipulating the post-modern world is dominated by a "next-generation" Nazis who have taken over the older more established behind the scenes New World order groups such as the Illuminati, the Council and Foreign Relations and Skull and Bones. Thus, the author states that Bush, pere and fils, along with John Kerry are either willing accomplices or subjugated dupes.

What is true and what is not true in this book is a matter of personal choice. While one can say, "You cannot make this stuff up!" it is also clear that one could. In light of this, The SS Brotherhood of the Bell falls into the same literary/historical niche as such events as The Philadelphia Experiment and Roswell, where it is certain something happened but the details and the actual accuracy of those details is extremely unclear.

As I implied, it is up to each and every reader of this book to make his/her rational decision about whether or not to believe all or some of what is contained in this book. My view is that it is hearsay unless the authior believes in what he has written. In that case, it is insanity.

This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
The common problem I see within the UFO community - and the public in general - is that the important distinction isn't made between UFO's and ET's (Extra Terrestrials), as I'm sure we are all aware, the definition of `UFO' has nothing to do with ET's. I myself have always thought that the majority of sited UFO's are merely tricks of light or meteors and so forth, but one can not legitimately dismiss the few genuine sightings of `Unidentified Flying Objects'. I have always thought that these genuine sightings are of UFO's are secret military aircraft.

This assumption was validated after I recently finished reading "The SS Brotherhood of the Bell" by Joseph Farrell.

This work by Farrell really shocked me with the extremely factual and empirical structure of his book, and together with his authoritative style and aura one is left with little choice but to believe that UFO's do exist, and were developed by humans over 50 years ago! As amazing (and at firsthand, absurd) as this sounds, once you see the documented evidence you are left with no other conclusion!

Farrell makes the case that Hitler's Nazis developed, amongst other technologies, various craft that were indentified by the public as UFO's, flying saucers ect.... The Nazi's used various propulsion systems which evolved from the mundane to the extremely exotic. This technology was subsequently picked up by both the Soviets and the US following the fall of Hitler's war machine. All the evidence presented by Farrell indicates that the exotic technology was further developed by these two nations.

When one first hears of the Nazi connection to UFO's one is quite sceptical, but as you realizes the undisputed - and largely unknown - advanced technology that Nazi Germany undeniably had, suddenly the idea of supersonic exotic flying discs seem a lot more plausible. And Farrell goes to a large amount of trouble to educate the reader from the start about the advanced technology that the German scientists had actually achieved. As Farrell makes clear from various military documents, had the allies not defeated Hitler's army when they did, the tide of the war would have irreversibly turned due to the advanced war craft that was starting to be rolled out ready for combat by Nazi Germany, for land, air and sea.

Farrell goes to an enormous amount of trouble to give the reader a background understanding of the physics that is the thesis of Farrell's book; that is the "Bell". Farrell discusses everything from suppressed "Scalar" physics, to the workings and classification of every type of nuclear weapon, to the Soviet vs US space race and the technology behind it, to the possible connection with the JFK assassination, the shady dealings of NASA under the control of a former Nazi scientific heavy weight (and yes, a former high ranking Nazi scientist was head of NASA!) and all sorts of topics which on the surface seem totally unrelated and absurd. But all this information is required to fully appreciate and comprehend the thesis of Farrell's work. Even if one is to disregard Farrell's main thesis, one will still gain an extraordinary amount of general knowledge from this work.

Farrell doesn't believe that UFO's have anything to do with ET's. Though Farrell is fully open to the existence of ET's, he see's no reason what-so-ever to suggest that any UFO's are of ET origin. All of the evidence and data regarding UFO's suggest that it's required technology is not exotic enough to demand the inclusion of ET's in the picture. Farrell believes that the required technology is fully within our grasp, and he makes an extremely convincing case.

Beware, this book opens a can or worms like I have never witnessed before. Every chapter leaves you wanting to know more, but considering the already large size of the book, only brief glances over many subjects were possible. Thankfully at the end of the book is a list of a couple dozen books that will quench your thirst for more. I found this book so enthralling and informative that I will probably read most of the further reading that is supplied at the end of the book.

Highly recommended!

This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
One of the very best explanations about the legendary Roswell Incident and the best answer to technological and political phenomena of the second half of the Twentieth Century. This book will convince you, or else you just don't want to know the truth. The Bell was the biggest technological breakthrough since those of Nikola Tesla, whose work and knowledge (along with ancient texts) inspired the device. Farrell presents an extremely well-documented, exhaustively researched and intelligently composed argument that common-sense thinkers will rejoice over. Farrell's cumulative work finds a summation in SS BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL that everyone can grasp, and few can legitimately deny possesses veracity.

If you want to get at the truth of what's been going on since World War Two, you must read this book.

An outstanding read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent research, October 2, 2006
This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
This book has for me the same high value as "Hitlers flying saucers" by Henry Stevens. The research is first class, especially because dr. Farrell sees the big picture and is able to connect seemingly different subjects. It never stops fascinating me how nazi Germany was able, before and in the war, to develop such things as rockets, electronics, radar, LASERS, grasers and the science fiction stuff we are only now discovering in the open literature. They were twenty to fourty years ahead of their time ! The book includes photos of german wartime electonic achievements like a miniature klystron (thumbnail dimensions) by Telefunken and the worlds first integrated circuit (photo by British intelligence). This book is a must have for the serious researcher of the terrestrial origins of (most)UFO's.

This was one of the best books I've read for some time, a terrific read. Farrell has an excellent writing style and supports his views with a ton of extremely well-footnoted excerpts. He also injects comments on other authors, critiquing their writing, while offering his own updates on their particular topics. Even if only 25% of his theories are valid, it will literally blow your mind. Buy the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating Overview of Some Little Known Events from History, September 17, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
In one respect, it's hard to figure out what to make of Joseph P Farrell's THE SS BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL: NASA'S NAZIS, JFK, AND MAJIC-12: the author spends a wealth of time exploring the planet's "secret history" where Nazi scientists -- realizing their own impending demise near the end of WWII -- embarked on a clandestine mission to guarantee survival of not only themselves but also their research into areas of unconventional aircraft designed using a kind of secret physics essentially unknown to most of the planet ... but, by the book's end, Farrell has provided plenty of fuel to, in the very least, provoke the reader to challenge the view of history put forth by mainstream academics, grade school textbooks, and a complicit media. His premise floats easily off the page like the anti-gravitic science he believes (and argues convincingly) Nazi scientists holed away deep within the bureaucracies that make up national governments and their assorted agencies. He capably demonstrates how an elite group of intelligent survivors may have masterfully set into motion the greatest ruse -- hiding in plain sight -- of all time.

(Note: I purchased Mr. Farrell's book after hearing him via podcast from his presentation earlier this year on COAST-TO-COAST AM, but, in an odd but fitting twist of fate, I had this book in my stack of stuff to read directly after completing Richard C Hoagland's DARK MISSION ... whoa! Talk about the stars aligning!)

Of course, with a selection of subjects so involving and requiring not only a willing suspension of disbelief regarding history but also a tremendous sense of brain power to grasp these meaty concepts, BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL is not without a few criticisms, and I'll get them out of the way up front. Yes, typos, typos, typos. There're here. Others have cited. (I find them forgivable given the strength of the research and my interest in the topic.) Also, much of the science presented in the center third of the book is, frankly, out of my reach; as a layman, I could've used some examples presented to underscore how some of these concepts worked largely because, by the author's own admission, Farrell explores a kind of science "untaught" to man (hidden aether physics, versus conventionally taught physics) ... that's not necessarily a failure on the part of the author so much as it is a failure to connect with the reader. There were a few passages I had to reread to better comprehend, and, as a reader, I hate having to do that, but Farrell presents ideas I want to understand. I mention this because I know he's working on at least one additional book (NAZI INTERNATIONAL) that I'm looking forward to, and I hope that there's still time for addressing a "dumbing down for the common man" in that book.

But enough on the downside ...

BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL presents an utterly frightening scenario that begins before WWII (pre-war Germany is still Germany as Farrell explains in examing the possible psychology of a people stemming from the Teutonic Knights) and evolves until present day: suppose mankind's greatest enemy somehow found a way to exist not so much peacefully but hidden within? Financed by the world's greatest superpowers? Secretly manipulating history to continue their various campaigns? It appears entirely plausible that what he postulates has happened while the world looked the other way. Events are presented (World War II, The Roswell Incident, the Cold War, the Kennedy Assassination) that, seemingly would have little or no relation to one another, but -- under Farrell's eye and corroborated with evidence from history -- the reader faces the harsh reality that members of a defunct Nazi party are far from individually 'defunct.' Did Nazi scientists negotiate with America, with Britain, with the Soviet Union to survive the end of the war on agreement to continue their work in respective governments? Has mankind been duped to believe a form of unprovable but popular physics? Did German scientists confirm that the UFO crashed in Roswell was, in fact, a downed craft of Nazi design? What did President Eisenhower truly known about a secret military industrial complex? Could a small investment firm have profited billions of dollar through its secret knowledge of Kennedy's assassination? The questions come easily one after the other, and Farrell presesnt arguments to support that not only are there two verions of physics but also there's two versions of accepted history.

Again, BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL is quite possibly not written for skeptics. There's much here to refute (the veracity of the MJ-12 documents, the lack of single 'gotcha' memo to substantiate any single Presidency's involvement, etc.) or at least argue about. For my tastes, the book works best in its final third when the Cold War has geared up, and Farrell dips into what may have been the Nazi's real post-war efforts; and this could be because, accepting the author's premise, there is a whole string of events which appear to have underscored the reality of a conspiracy despite what the Warren Commission found. BROTHERHOOD OF THE BELL is best read by the scores and scores of folks who believe that solving puzzles are central to the human experience. There are plenty of pieces here, and Farrell does a tremendous job of putting them together in a such a way as to forever cause the reader to challenge what he's been asked to accept by either a duped or complicit society.

5.0 out of 5 stars Full course dinner plus dessert, July 13, 2007
This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
This book is one big meal of a read. I read it a few years back and it remains one of my favorite in the field of alternative technologies and history. Not only is it well written (I enjoy Farrell's writing...see Giza Deathstar series) but it keeps the mind buzzing. If you have a feeling there is more to history than what you got in high school this is a great place to start an investigation. I would feel confident in offering an expanded review once I reread the title to refresh my memory so for now, trust me, this is a great book. Not for summer reading unless this is what you usually read. Not for the light hearted.

This was a very, very difficult book to get through. At times, it was a form of torture I mysteriously felt compelled to put myself through. It's hard to think of a conspiracy theory that this author doesn't subscribe to. At least the entire first half of the book is devoted to a rambling, ranting litany of rather outlandish theories of how the Nazis have their hands in all walks of government and science. It is one thing to have an open mind. It is completely another to be recklessly gullible. And that is the book's greatest and unforgivable weakness. The Nazi Bell, if it really existed, is an extremely interesting and compelling story. However, by coupling the story of the Nazi Bell to these multitudes of ridiculous conspiracy theories, it's veracity is pretty much shot to hell. A shame. I would have liked to have been left thinking that such a technology might actually have been explored. My other criticisms of this book are probably equally as damning. His explanation of the Bell technology is next to worthless. An example: "In other words, one must imagine each of the scaler entities accompanying the vectors in the diagrams above as being composed of bi-directional longitudinal or acoustic waves in the medium. Thus, Whittaker decomposes the scaler entities into pairs of such pressure waves as stresses in the medium. Combining, or interfering such waves thus causes the standard electromagnetic fields and waves observed in standard physics. And most importantly, this can be done at a distance. But what does this mean?" No kidding!!! What jibberish. The non-linear quantized angular momentum of the wave function amplitude follows a discretization on a bra-ket notation for the Bose-Einstein condensate relative to the ergenstate of the associated Hilbert space in a projectivization of the photoelectric positron vector.... See, I can do that too. But what have you learned? The constant references to his previous books was at first mildly amusing but soon became annoying. I guess if I had read his previous books, one in which he advances the treatise that the Great Pyramid is in fact an incredible machine of mass destruction, I would have avoided this one. My bad.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nazi anti-gravity technology?, July 10, 2010
This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
In this sequel to "Reich of the Black Sun", Farrell demonstrates that, by early 1945, the Nazis had a prototype supersonic plane and actually operated an innovative submarine that could travel underwater (not just submerge occasionally) and move twice as fast as the submarines then in use, that could attack while submerged, and was coated with radar absorbent material (submarines of that era had none of these capabilities).

It seems the Nazis were overcome only in the nick of time, especially given their atom bomb, not deployed only because they were waiting for the longer-range new planes to be built to carry such a heavy device. There are also strong indications that the Nazis were working on UFO-related technology. Their most secret project of all, the Bell, may well have been an SS anti-gravity aircraft project that was transferred elsewhere at the end of WWII.

Focusing this time on the now (apparently) discredited non-linear physics initiated by Tesla and subsequently elaborated by Nazi and then Soviet physicists, Farrell explains that this revolutionary type of physics was the basis underlying his three books on the Great Pyramid and the weapon hypothesis ("The Giza Death Star", "The Giza Death Star Deployed", and "The Giza Death Star Destroyed").

Claiming (not unreasonably) that physics as currently taught is a dead end, he discusses "scalar physics" and zero point energy research which may already have been underway for nearly a decade in Germany before the Nazis took over and extended the research. This type of physics has "planet-busting capability...and an endless promise in the fields of energy and propulsion" as well as aspects of quantum mechanics and coherence. Several chapters are devoted to revealing information on suppressed physics. Therefore I passed the relevant chapters to someone with a physics degree who said Farrell tells a good story but so generally that no physicist would be interested. As an example, the scalar physics was covered in a similar manner as say describing the internet as "to do with computers".

This book is essentially a continuation of the author's research into the more exotic weapons the Nazis were working on, based on further declassified wartime Nazi papers obtained after "Reich of the Black Sun" was finished, and on superb research by a Polish military researcher published in English as "The Truth about the Wunderwaffe" although Farrell says his own interpretation is more radical and speculative.

Farrell was vague about the groundbreaking research part in his earlier book whereas here he presents evidence that, by the end of WWII, the Nazis had jumped from the scientific level of the 1940s to the 1960s: they had developed the transistor and the integrated circuit (pix are shown), the laser, fiber-optics, and even particle beams and particle accelerators in addition to the supersonic plane, the advanced submarine, and his speculations about UFO technology and anti-gravity devices.

However, the material is wide ranging to the point of seeming unfocused in places, for instance in the author's desire to uncover the many strange connections between the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963; UFOs, which became more frequently sighted from 1947; advanced technology; and the Nazis who appear, even today, to have links in the U.S. to "the Mafia, big business and banking, the military-industrial complex" and major manipulations of the stock market. There's a pointless potted history of Prussia. Instead of just summarizing the parts of other books he wants to use in support of his, Farrell adds irrelevant pages expounding on what he disagrees with. And so on.

Overall, the astonishing information and allegations deduced from declassified documents make this book well worth reading but I must deduct 2 stars for the shaky physics which, after all, makes up a quite a large portion but was difficult to get through because not clearly or logically explained. I do object to being lectured on physics by someone who is neither a physicist nor someone who understands it very well at all.

This book, interesting though it was, nearly put me off reading other books by Farrell. Fortunately, "Babylon's Banksters" was already on the pile, as it turned out to be quite fascinating. "The Philosopher's Stone", which I then bought, turned out to be more interesting than this book: not for me, as it was too technical, but for the same person with the physics degree, who actually read most of it and thought it had some good ideas, although atrociously written.

[Later note: what I think of as Farrell's 2011 trilogy: "Cosmic War", "Genes, Giants, Monsters and Men" and "The Grid of the Gods" form a continuation of his earlier works, taking us all further towards an understanding of the "master plan of a hidden e-lite".]

This review is from: The SS Brotherhood of the Bell: The Nazis' Incredible Secret Technology (Paperback)
The author has other books which I read because this book was so awesome (The Giza Death Star series). With that said, I would never have taken his other books seriously if it had not been for the accuracy of this work. As a history buff, I have read things from one end of the spectrum to the other and filtering lies is never easy. Dr. Farrell did his homework in spades with the Nazi's.

For twenty years I've read about the Nazi's and WWII, which served me very well in reading and understanding this book. The subjects covered are pretty out-there and it's easy for some folks to be repelled by stuff like this.

There's alot of bad material on the subject of Nazi inventions out there. Many outright lies designed to make the subject fantastic and obscure the real advances which were actually achieved. I think Farrell is trustworthy and did a great job in covering material that I had never seen. About 85% was totally new to me. And for the most part, perfectly reasonable.

This is a fantastic read. Many of these ideas and reports of witnesses are not new about the Nazi's and their fantastic inventions. Farrell adds depth and investigation to the most interesting parts that directly relate to our modern situation.
