I stopped buying glass carafes forever!
Now my workhorse Braun coffeemaker really will last for all eternity. After breaking far too many glass replacements (Braun and knockoff brands) I wised up. You should too.

Stainless Steel 12 cup carafe
Very flimsy - cheaply made. No adapters for stop drip feature on most coffeemakers. More sturdy than glass, though.

This is made of very thin metal. It does not keep the coffee hot and does not fit a standard Mr. Coffee coffee maker. It might make a good planter....

I wanted a coffee carafe that I could not break and this is it. It works as it is supposed to and other than not being able to see how much coffee is left in the carafe it is just as good as glass to me.

The coffee carafe is just as advertised. Problem is, it is designed for European models and has a top different from what I needed. However, I have jury rigged my old top (two broken carafes later) and it is serving its purpose fine. Nice thinG is:NO MORE BROKEN CARAFES!+
