I've been shaving "old school" for quite awhile now (Wellll....not that long really but for well over 5 years now! (;o) and I love these blades very much.

When I say that I have been shaving with these I really mean shaving (!) as I'm not only writing about my face but also about tackling the stubble on my head as well.

I have tried several different kinds of razorblades and these are my very favorite thus far. Derby's come in a close second but Sharp's take the gold prize to be sure......so 5 stars from me each and every time!

I use a Merkur Futur as a daily razor. I've always thought I owed my face the best I could "provide" meaning the most expensive, Merkur/Feather. The Futur is an adjustable razor which I set at 3 1/2 for my first pass. After reading the reviews for this blade and considering $$$ $0.15 instead of $0.50 I thought what do I have to lose, ($16.00/100) at the most.

Well. This is only the second review i've written and I'm writing it because I just experienced the most UNBELIEVABLY PERFECT. CLOSEST, MOST COMFORTABLE SHAVE ever,(I have very sensitive skin being a red head, very fair but HEAVY thick coarse beard)! I have no idea how many shaves I'll get since I've only used this blade once but even if I have to change the blade daily, I'm still way ahead considering the pleasant experience! I get 5 shaves from the Merkur and 4 from the feather. I hope all of the blades are the same and I intend to purchase 1000 as soon as posible. BE BRAVE, TRY THESE for $0.15 to $0.16 cents apiece, what have you got to lose!!!!!

Blades are consistently sharp averaging 4 shaves per blade so a pack of 100 will last a year. That's a good deal!

Fantastic Shave. Period. I've been using these blades for weeks now and my face has not been this smooth since I was 10 years old! What else can I say. I've used many different brands and this one is my favorite!

Excellent Blades. For less than $20.00 I get more than a years worth of Shaves. Product is as advertised. Quality is on par with much more expensive blades. I have had no razor burn, rash, etc which often happens with other products. Very satisfied with these. The only downside is that these typically give about 4 shaves each - but at this price, still a huge bargain.

These razors give a great shave, better than my Merkur razors. I have sensitive skin and have not had razor burn problems. Much better shave than my old Mach 3 and for less than $17 I get over a year's worth of shaving when 8 cartridges for the Mach 3 were around $28! Better shave for less money...Switch to a safety razor.

I have tried several brands of double edge razor blades and these Sharp blades are as good as any including Merkur and Feather. In some ways they are better as I am able to get a close shave without irritating my neck and I seem to have less cuts. I also think it helps that I have a Merkur adjustable razor so I can fine tune the settings to match the blade. Overall this is the best value for a double edge razor I have found so far.

The name says it all. Shaving with this blades, provides and amazing feather feeling on the skin, no irritation, smooth shave.
This blades are excellent and for the price, you get the best out there.

What's not like about these razor blades? High quality stainless steel, very SHARP, smooth shaving and less than 17 cents each. Heck you could afford to change one every other day and be way ahead of the curve, considering the cartridge razor blades cost more than $2 each and don't last any longer.

Pared up with my Merkur DE razor handle, these blades make the most of my morning shaving ritual. The blades give me a close smooth shave with no cuts or bumps.

Made in India with Japanese steel on British equipment, if you care about such things.

UPDATE 6/17/2010: These blades stay sharp. I am still working on using the original shipment. After 1 year of shaving, I have 8 tucks left with 5 blades each = 40 blades. I can go another 30+ weeks! I do use a razor stand which allows the razor and blade to dry after shaving.

I purchased these after reading some of the positive press on these on some of the forums. These are probably the most forgiving blade I've used yet they are very sharp. The resulting shave is consistently comfortable and even in the most aggressive of razors, I find these have yet to nick or cut me. I typically get 3-6 shaves from a blade.

These are excellent in the Vintage Gillette razors and Parker razors which I use. I'm quite happy with this purchase.
