the turntable is very shiny, took less then three min to put together, and does it's job. it's tall enough on the bottom shelf to hold enough of my kitchen spices that the big fat and tall jars can go on the top. it's turning action is smooth. however a nice thing is that it dosn't turn really fast all the time, like some of the cheaper one's i've had. nothing is worse then a turn table that spins so fast you miss the item you want, or that turns all the time if you even bump it by accident. it is a very nice piece, matches my stainless blender my toaster and my osterizer and i have had friends pick them up because they liked it so much.

We replaced an older, plastic lazy-susan with this unit. The narrow cupboard is really only usable for spices, and there is less than a half inch clearance between the edges of the lazy-susan and the sides of the cupboard. The plastic unit was balky, due to inferior bearings, and the upper shelf had a tendency to lean due to the lousy plastic supports, making is a chore to rotate the unit. This steel unit solves both those problems. While the bearings are not high-tech, they are smooth and should last for years. The steel tubes that support the upper shelf screw in tightly and feel secure. When you grab the steel tubes to turn the whole assembly it feels very solid and rotates easily without leaning, wobbling or balking. Under a full load of spices in glass jars the turntable rotates freely and easily and it is working very well. If I had any complaint it would be that the steel tube supports could be one inch longer to allow for larger spice containers on the bottom shelf.

This saved us space in our cabinet now the spices and other things are very accessable. I love the durability, and the look is very modern. If you want to put this product on the counter then you can it looks that good.

Purchased six of these stainless steel two-tiered turntables at Amazon.com, after quite of a lot of web browsing. Assembled without much problem. Made in China, so fittings are off though workable, and quality is a little tinnier than desired. Would have liked to find better quality, so afterward I tried another brand also, and found that this item was actually much superior in quality. Wish it were dishwasher-safe, with sealed bearings, but this kind of construction using the minimal quality to do the job seems to be the best available nowadays.

I had ordered two of these within 6 months and the the quality of the second one was not like the first one at all which was very good. The second one that I just received didn't turn properly, had scratches on it, and I could see underneath that the plastic piece between the two metal plates was thinner, a different color and the steel overall was thinner and more flimsy. I returned it for a refund. Will not buy it again.

I purchased 2 of these for use in my refrigerator. I originally bought them to hold soda cans (my refrigerator is LARGE but not deep enough to hold the usual soda dispensers). Sodas did fit on the upper turntable but not well on the lower one. They do, however, hold a vast array of yogurts and jello containers (I have 2 young kids who eat these foods often) and the other one is being used to hold a variety of condiments. I love being able to turn the turntable for easy access to so many items. Thumbs up!

Use the Lazy Susan 2 tier Turntable for counter top organization and easy access to my most often used spices and cooking oils. Salts, peppers, onion powder, garlic powder, dried basil, soy sauce, olive oil, sesame oil and such are close at hand yet neatly organized. The stainless steel of the turntable goes with my kitchen appliances. It is also stain resistant and easy to clean. My only complaint is that the 6" inside height is measured from base to base and is, in reality, only 5 1/4" of allowable space, just a hair too short for some of my larger 5 1/2" spice containers.

I stacked my vitamins on them and took them for a twirl. It's great to see them and be able to change the view with just a turn. The device is shiny and modern and it looks great sitting out on the counter.

I ordered one of these two-tiered turntables not knowing for sure how sturdy it would be. After receiving it and the easy assembly, I was very pleased with how it "cleaned up" my spices. My husband liked it so much, he suggested we get more, so I ordered two more for our kitchen cabinets for medicine and misc. junk. Love them!

This turn-table is a nice quality, good looking sturdy solid metal unit that turns well. I like it.
