Excellent road atlas
I just returned from a 2400 mile trip to nine states. Although I had a GPS in the car, the American Map road atlas was an excellent reference. It lived up to its claim of being very easy to read and the spiral binding made it easier to use than the older style fold-out maps. It was also quite durable - it survived rough handling well. I recommend it highly.

2011 /Road atlas...not as nice as 2008
details of smaller roads are not labeled and not as concise as needed when driving. Not as much contrast from background and map details making it harder to read when driving. Road Atlas US 20ll No fun guessing when you are in lake area near Topeka...Could be a wet day..
