HURRAY! Not only were these decorations amazing for our Toddler's cake, but about a week after the party since we cleaned and dried them I thought to let my Toddler play with them as toys. THAT is when I realized they freakin' light up when you push their backs! I don't remember reading the lightsabers lit up but...THEY DO!

First off, the item displayed shows two disks to place on the cake, but, in fact, it's a single piece of plastic and the images overlap. Meaning that if I cut them apart, the blue piece is missing a chunk. I suppose it would go great on a small round cake, but I am serving a 9 X 13 rectangular cake and was planning to decorate it like they show in the item picture. It's apparent this is not the same item as in the picture.
And, to top it off, neither of the light sabers works.

I had to make a cake last minute for a friends son's birthday. I found this online & ordered.
I then called the company & left a message about the urgency of the order as I needed it for that weekend.
They left me a very nice message that day saying that they had shipped the item for me.

The figures looked great on the cake & they lit up when the button on the back was pressed. I only wish that there was a way to keep them lit up during the 'grand presenation' of the cake.

These look great on the cake but the light sabers don't stay lit unless you hold down the buttons. Can't really do that on the cake. Also, of course the kids want to play with them like action figures but they don't seem like they'll hold up through that.

I had high hopes for this after reading the reviews. Just a heads up that I didnt get what is shown on the display pic. The symbols on the cake are thin plastic, and connected to each other, not seperate which is displayed in the pic. they also have indentations in them to place the action figures. I had hoped to use them for something else after they were removed from the cake, but they look silly with the indentations. Also Darth Vaders light saber barely lights up, where as Lukes is very bright green. Over all, not what I ordered.

Bought this for my son's 5th birthday cake. Looked really cool atop his two tiered black cake. Just would be so much better if you could keep the sabers lit! My husband actually rigged them with a tiny wooden wedge stuck in to keep them on while we sang Happy Birthday. Not very bright, though, if you're having an outdoor party. Overall, made his cake awesome!

The mini-figures are great, as toys, after the party. Recieved what we in Jamaica call 'brawta',...a little extra, ie. our theme-colored balloons, cupcake sprinkles, and candles for the cake. Loved that!! Recieved them quickly...service can't be beat!!! Highly recommend!

May the force be with you! I am using these as cake toppers for a guy's baby shower with words of "May The Force Be With You!" I am not using the plastic thing that comes with them to stand them on. Seems UN-sturdy to hold the characters. The characters seem well made. And as some have said they don't light up on their own you have to push on the back of them. Wish there was a turn on and off switch that way they were lit up on the cake. Overall very happy with the product!

This was a neat cake topper, but the light up factor is not important. It is difficult to press the buttons, and even more difficult when they are on the cake.

5 year old birthday cake toppers- The kids loved the glow in the dark light sabers and actually slept with them. Unfortunately one broke off, but I guess that is to be expected if you are cuddling up to a light saber. For a cake decoration they are great, but they don't take the place of an action figure.
