Equipped with a grease fitting at the water drain plug outlet. Apply grease once per year after you drain the water to keep the drive housing assembly lubricated. This allows longer starter and drive life as it helps with the corrision problems common to Polaris starters.

Put this baby in my 2003 polaris trailblazer 250. Fit just right. Cranks hard and has not had any problems so far. I would recommend buying the bendix drive to go with it if there is any doubt yours is bad to save a little time and frustration from having to do the job twice ;-)

good as oem, that leaked too! Unfortunatley polaris desined some years with the starter on the bottom of the atv.That person must live in the desert ! U can fix this by sealing tie bolts, wire terminal and especialy the two o rings with blue permatex before instalation.Then this product is actualy better thanPermatex F80022 Blue RTV Silicone GSK- 3-Ounce new !!!
