[...] figuring maybe my girlfriend would like it. It was hardly erotic, generally predictable and dull. A tough blond tries to take a nice person's job away from her. It doesn't work out; the tough blond also manages to have sex with a few simple minded males. Nothing creative about this film. Simulated sex has the usual positions, front, back, some oral. Who cares?
This movie might have cast some real women in these roles, not the usual Playboy stereotypes. The script must have been written in 20 minutes.

"Staying On Top" is another film of the softcore erotica genre. I liked this film, although I have seen better. The acting was generally good considering the genre.

Not many people care about the plots of films like this one, but here it is. A new, young advertising executive, Katherine Phillips, is put in charge of a new account. However her supervisor, Cindy La Conte, takes the account away from her. Ms. La Conte wants the account all to herself. Ms. Phillips quits her job from the frustration, but there's a problem. The new account specifically wanted her to do the work, not Ms. La Conte. If the head of the firm finds out that Katherine Phillips quit her job, Cindy La Conte will be out of a job. If things weren't bad enough for Katherine, she finds out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Can Katherine Phillips survive Ms. La Conte's schemes while dealing with the emotional turmoil of her love life? Better yet, can she succeed with her dreams?

Okay, this isn't "Citizen Cane" on any level. With a gag character name like "La Conte" for the evil female villain, this film is clearly as deep as a baby pool. However, it's not supposed to be deep. This is a film that couples can watch if they're feeling up to "stimulating" entertainment.

Now here's the deal. Six scenes are straight male-to-female scenes, one scene is a one-female-shower scene, and another scene is a one-female-massaging-two-other-females-then-getting-it-on-with-the-third-female-she-massages scene. There are three male actors and six female actresses that grace these scenes. Some don't look that good, but most do. Holly Sampson is always great, and Sasha Rochelle was great too.

It's good. If this sort of thing is your bag, check it out.

I really enjoyed this video. Holly Sampson (2 scenes), Ava Lake (1 scene), and Sasha Rochelle (2 scenes) all look great. The sex scenes are, for the most part, very well done. This isn't one where the music covers up the sounds of the actors/actresses and there are no abrupt or awkward endings.

But there were some things that I would have liked to seen done differently. They should have cut some dialogue and fit in one or two more sex scenes. One of the scenes is in the back of a limo, which isn't the optimal location. The lighting in that scene wasn't very good either. And finally, during a couple of scenes, the director had a tendency to zoom the camera in too close to the action. We needed some full body shots.

But it's still easy to recommend.

This is the best Playboy movie I've ever watched. I even bought my own copy. Unfortunately in Australia we don't get unrated version, we can buy the R-version only. I imagine the unrated version would have been more spicy.

All the scenes are absolutely fantastic. The beginning of the movie shows a tv ad featuring Tracy Ryan, I wish she was in some scenes. Sasha Rochelle delivers an outstanding performance, especially in her second sex scene. The one I enjoyed most was the massage between the girls (Holly Sampson, Ava Lake and Sasha Rochelle). I must say Playboy really pushed the limits of softcore in that one, so many close-ups and pink (rear close-ups). Nevertheless I think viewers love this as we need a bit of change in this modern and stressful environment.

There is also one gorgeous scene with Holly masturbating herself in the shower.

Overall I strongly recommend this movie to any potential viewer. Enjoy!

The best Indigo/Playboy I've seen so far. All sex scenes are hot and explicit, with lots of close-ups and pink. High quality graphic too. The actors performance's outstanding and a nice plot too. Highly recommended!

Softcore erotica is getting much more explicit lately in it's coverage of the female anatomy. "Staying On Top" is no exception. Forget the plot and enjoy the skin on display in this one. Holly Sampson has two hot scenes, one with a guy in a pool where she wraps her legs around his head (I know he enjoyed the view, as we get a few peeks too!) and a solo scene with shower massager in the right spot. The most explicit shots come when Holly Hollywood massages three of the babes in the movie, one at a time. Lots of shots from behind as Holly's oily hands really move those derrieres. The last massage of beautiful, busty Ava Lake is really explicit... lots of close ups between the legs and some definite touching down there... can we still call it softcore at this point? You be the judge.

I appreciate efforts to put a little plot back into porn. This one is a good example. It has a simple, fun to follow plot that includes plenty of sex. The sex scenes where great and almost every girl had a great body.
