I highly recommened getting this laser for your S&W Sigma series pistol. I was alittle unsure of ordering this product, but after getting it, and went shooting at the indoor range. After a few very minor adjustment`s, the laser easily was aimed, and honed in and I was shooting at 30 ft. hitting all shot`s in either center mass,or head shot`s. All shot`s were in target, and right where I wanted them to go! Yes these laser`s are expensive, but when it`s dark, and you can`t see, but at least the person breaking in your house see`s a laser beam as bright as the sun on their chest, I promise that person will think twice.
The bottom line is this thing is awesome! Buy it, you wont regret it, at least I hope not.
Oh the only down side other then price is the nut`s that hold the screw`s in place come lose when shooting. I guess the vibration of the shot`s make them come lose. They recommened lock tight, but when you want to clean your gun, you have to take the laser off anyway because man that laser get`s dirty when you go shooting. I would be afraid to destroy the screw`s, and nut`s using lock tight. Anyway it`s your own call.

It took over two weeks for the laser to arrive so delivery was not great. The unit worked fine my first trip to the range.
On my second trip (so the wife could get used to it) the laser moved further from zero with each shot and would not readjust. I am waiting for a replacment.
My initial experience was that I liked it and as long as the warranty is honored I think it will be OK.

very easy to instal. is somewhat tough to adjust but once you get it dialed in, the thing wont move and is dead on accurate. looks great and is very easy to turn on and off.

The item was fine. It was the mailing time that was bad. It took almost two weeks to receive my product. I had to call to get it moving. Everything else was OK.

Pro's:
The Stingray by ArmaLaser is without doubt the very best fit for your Sigma SW9VE or SW40VE.
This sight does NOT take an adapter, it fits right on your Sigma rail.
On/Off Switch is firm and tight, no slop at all.
Easy to adjust sight with elevation and windage fully adjustable by Allen screw adjustments that stay put once adjusted.
The laser is, bright and tight, red.
All the extra parts, Allen wrenches, screws, extra battery cover screw, nuts, stickers, and cleaning cloth are excellent touches but ... (see cons)

Cons:
No cons on the laser or its operation, none at all! The price is pretty stiff, comparatively speaking, but I'll pay more gladly for "Made in the U.S.A." quality. My package was short both cleaning brushes. I will contact ArmaLaser to see what happened to my brushes. Hopefully they will just send me some out, we'll see.

Other Thoughts:
I have used laser sights on my weapon(s) before but nothing compares to the Stingray by ArmaLaser for the Sigma Series. It is a very well thought out piece. Hangs tight below the barrel. This sight form fits this piece (SW9VE) like it was especially designed for the Sig, and it was! If you own an S&W Sigma and your thinking of purchasing a laser sight that has excellent characteristics, this sight is THE ONE!!

Update 01/21/2012: In regards to "Cons": I contacted ArmaLaser through Amazon and my missing cleaning brushes, more like Q-tips, arrived in about three days. Yes, their customer service works, and works well.

This laser sight works perfectly with my S&W Sigma 40. I do not need to add a rail or anything to my gun which will add weight. The sight is very easy to adjust and is easy to use.
