I love my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50, but the battery life is really limited, and when you're going to be away from a plug for an extended period of time, you're restricted to the rather short life of the battery that came with the camera. this battery actually lasted longer then my Sony battery which helps out a lot in these cases This is an excellent replacement.

I am very impressed with this battery. This battery is labeled as a NP-BG1, but in the Sony DSC-WX10 it actually performs like a NP-FG1 which is the same battery I guess you find out something new every day!

I have been a customer of SterlingTek (STK) digital camera batteries for years and they haven't let me down yet. I bought this battery for the Sony DSC-HX30V. The camera came with a Sony NP-BG1 battery, which shows the power level remaining as a power bar icon. Sony has since replaced the NP-BG1 with the NP-FG1 InfoLithium battery, which allows the camera to estimate how much life is remaining in minutes. It's not clear in the product description, but this STK battery operates like the InfoLithium battery in my camera, displaying both the power bar and minutes remaining.
I cannot comment on the life of this battery yet, as I just received it. If my previous SterlingTek purchases are any indication, this battery should last at least as long as the Sony OEM batteries. I'll post a follow-up after I've had it for a few months.

After searching for hours, I was glad to find a battery from a seller who doesn't attempt to sell it as a Sony product. It is what it claims to be, a high quality replacement. It does function as an InfoLithium, allowing the camera to display remaining battery life in minutes, and it does seem to have a considerable amount of extra capacity over the battery my camera came with. Very good buy.

I bought this battery for my trip to Europe and I'm glad I did. The battery held its charge as long as the original Sony battery I had for my camera. I'd buy this battery again for any other compatible electronics in the future.

Quick delivery. I haven't had any issues with this battery yet. I wish it came with a plastic case that you can reuse as you carry your spare batteries around but instead it was in a small paper box.
