If you'd like some ideas about Stonehenge on the order of what were they thinking and how did they do that then look no further. Cornwell does an excellent job of synthesizing some current theories with interesting characterizations and his usual vivid battle descriptions. He puts us on site between warring tribes and makes it believable. I thought enough of it to order a second copy for friends in NZ and pay the hefty shipping fee from the US. I've read nearly everything BC has written and I would place this volume in the upper quartile of his work.
