This is an extremely disappointing documentary for what could have been as gripping a DVD as Cocaine Cowboys.

Many years ago F.E.D.S. Magazine conducted an incredible tell-all interview with Alpo Martinez. That magazine issue included a CD with an hour and 18 minutes of audio from Alpo recorded from prison phone calls. Alpo offered a complete breakdown of his start in the world of cocaine, the nature of his friendships with Rich Porter and AZ, and what ultimately landed him in prison.

This documentary doesn't remotely scratch the surface of what Alpo discussed, instead providing interview clips with a random assortment of people who had nothing to do with the rise and fall of the three coke kingpins.

Much of the 41-minute DVD is dedicated to the kidnapping of Rich Porter's younger brother, and features an interview with sister Pat Porter about the incident. While it makes for an interesting story, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the rise and fall of Rich Porter himself.

This so-called documentary does a major disservice to the tragic but fascinating story of the cocaine kingpins of Harlem. Do yourself a favor and cop F.E.D.S. Magazine Vol #4 Issue #19 (Kingpins Gone Bad), and spare yourself from renting or buying this DVD.

If you saw Paid In Full the movie, this is a must see! Get the real scoop from the people that were there when it happened! I had this on VHS way before the movie came out. Somehow it grew feet & walked out the door. So when I had the chance to grab it on DVD...I did it! Get your's too!

Personally I really liked this movie, I think this is a good way to see what happens when you want to get things the easy way. You can have action in this movie, without loosing the message that it has.

The proof is in the pudding on this one !! Actual individuals involved being interviewed ?? If that's not REAL then what is ?? I felt this story on DVD should have been longer but was satisfied nonetheless .

True enough this story shows how there very young men were gettin more money than some will see in a lifetime, however, it does show both sides of the game. Unlike Paid in Full, which in my opinoin is another example of how black cinema tends 2 glorify the drug game, Game Over gives you an in depth look at how this lifestly of fast cars and even faster money can quickly lead 2 one's downfall...It is a good look n2 the lives of Rich, Alpo, and AZ and it will leave you feeling speechless at how money can ruin even the closest of relationships. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it was so short and it didn't really go in depth about what Alpo was thinking when he did some of the evil things he did, but I guess that will all be revealed in vol. 2. This is a realistic look n2 the life that some of your favorite rappers are so quick 2 glorify w/out ever really be involved. However more importantly it shows exactly how drugs and the love of money ruins relationships and lives. AZ said in the film how all of the murders and murder attempts were 'inside jobs,' and it is always the same story.

WONDERFUL!!! PAINFUL!!!EXCELLENTLY TOLD!!! STRAIGHT NO CHASER!!!!THIS MOVIE ALTHOUGH SHORT,BUT IT WAS VERY MUCH SO TO THE POINT!!!! I WISH THAT SOME HOW, SOME WAY DRUG DEALERS ALL ACROSS THIS COUNTRY COULD SEE THIS MOVIE, AND SOMEHOW FEEL THIS FAMILY'S PAIN ,SO THAT MAYBE JUST ONE PERSON WOULD DECIDE TO TURN AWAY FROM THAT LIFE ,SO THAT AT LEAST DONNELL WOULD NOT HAVE DIED IN VAIN!!!!!! TO THE PORTER FAMILY THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TESTIMONY ,I SHOWED IT TO MY 21 YR OLD AND I'LL SAVE IT FOR THE RIGHT TIME FOR MY SEVEN YEAR OLD !!!!! MY PRAYERS TO GOD IS FOR YOUR CONTINUED STRENGTH AND MUCH FINANCIAL, MENTAL,EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL GAIN!!!! PEACE!!!!!
