This product is awesome!! I have fair skin and every self tanning lotion/spray I've tried always makes me look orange. I promise you this one doesn't. The flip side is it's not going to make you look brown or super tan though either, so don't expect that. What it DOES do is give you a little color and a really nice glow, especially on your face. It also evens out your skin tone on your face too.

Any downsides/negatives?

The only one I can think of is it's harder to wash off your hands if you don't wash it off immediately after applying it.


TIP: I know it says use it before bed but here are
3 REASONS TO USE IT IN THE MORNING INSTEAD:

1) If you use it right before bed some of it will come off on your pillow and sheets and stain them.

2) If you use it at night and shower in the morning and use a washcloth or loofah, you're going to wash/rub some of it off before your day even starts.

3) If you use it in the morning after you shower it works as a great moisturizer and absorbs better into your skin.

I love this product and have been using it for years. Not only do I use it in the summer but in the Winter I use it on my legs. Because I am so so fair skinned I use this in combination with a product that produces a little more of a gold tone. In the Spring when everyone is trying to get tans, I put this on with nothing else added to get my tan started. People always compliment me on my tan and how good I look. They think I sit and tan everyday or go to a tanning salon, I always tell them about this product.

I'm naturally very pale, and finding a sunless tanner that looks natural has been very difficult for me. I came across this at ULTA and decided to try it. I like the smell of it, and while I do notice the fake tan smell later on, it isn't as strong as other sunless tanners I've tried. I also like the initial color (even though it's fairly streaky from the brown color that's temporary), it sort of gives my skin a red tint which makes it look like I was in the sun, and I don't think it's from my skin being irritated (I didn't feel any burning or itching), I think it was just the color of the tanner. I usually apply it about 4-5 hrs before taking a shower, then after showering the smell and the streaks from the temporary color are gone and I'm left with a fairly natural looking tan, not orange or yellow.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I was a little confused by the ingredients. On the front of the bottle, it says it's *Paraben Free* and made with natural ingredients, but reading the ingredient list I did find some parabens. Not a huge deal, I would just rather use something without parabens and I'm not sure why they claim it to be paraben free (did they not think anyone would read the ingredients?). But either way, I will continue to use it 1-2 times a week because of the nice color.
