This review is from: SUNergy Arch Inlay Solar LED Garden Yard Accent Lights Pewter (4) NEW (Misc.)
We purchased these lights 2 years ago and they are still lit and bright. I may reorder because we left out in the Illinois winter and unfortunatley the electroplate is weathered and peeling. This is definatley not a manufacture problem, simply our fault for not taking them in. I do not know why anyone would say they arent bright because out LIGHT up the whole yard. You must have them get full sun in order to work properly

These are double the price of similar products,
but they are metal and glass, not plastic. I did not realize it, but some of the extra cost is because the kit includes two ways to mount these lights, via shepherd hooks or stakes. I'd rather have one choice and pay less. The lights have been working perfectly for almost three weeks. They are attractive. However, they merely give off a votive like glow, do not illuminate measurable ground area. My doggy and I do not feel safe about going into the backyard at night because these do not provide enough light for that. I have learned from professionals that solar spotlights and floodlights do not really give off that kind of light, either, at least not yet. Hoping for advances soon! Update: One of the lights died the first month. A second light died this month after a longevity of about six and a half months. That leaves two lamps still working. I have reduced the stars accordingly from four to three. All of the lights should have lasted a full year. I strongly recommend an electric source of light if you need ample illumination outside. The decisions are up to you. The second light died this month. |
