solar lights
Darkness brings the glow of solar lights down my garden path. The lights look good in the day time and stay lit until dawn. I am very pleased with these lights.

Swell. If they worked.
You get what you pay for I guess, and although these lights look fancier than some others in this price range, the actual physical construction is ultra cheap. You have to be careful threading the assembly together, the material is so thin and weak it's easy to strip the threads. The LED bulb is just hanging from the circuit board. And, sure enough, a few...

And, sure enough, a few weeks after I bought them, one of them just up and quit. Note they are very weak even after being in full sunlight, just marker lights for driveway entrances or whatever, not for illumination. For what they are, not bad, but you pays your money and you takes your chances, 50/50 from this small sample. Update: Make that 25/75, of the four I ended up buying, only one is still functioning. |
