It provides extra protection when packed in your car, truck, in your travel coffin bag or even on your roof / tailgate surfboard car rack. From nose to tail, 3mm of waterproof impact absorbing foam is lined inside the exterior and interior shells of 130PE tarpaulin material. Tarpaulin provide semi-reflectant resistance to sun and heat exposure as well as cover protection from dust, light and rain. Includes a web carry handle and padded shoulder strap. Interior pocket holds fins, wax, and keys. Zipper at tail for effortlessly loading and unloading.

It has enough padding and it provides adequate protection and isn't particularly hard to get the boards in and out of other than the one I want to use it on is a 8'4" gun and it has a bit too much curve to get in easily, I tried a 8' fun board and it was fine other than a little long. It is wider than you might expect and a bit bulky and the tail fin slot for a long board is trimmed in webbing and not Velcro lined like others so it lets the center fine stick through and keeps you from throwing small things in the bag while your surfing. For the price I can't complain since I am cheap. For this one I would probably shell out the extra bucks for another bag if I could have compared it before purchase but not since I have this one already. I will probably end up with the funboard in it and buy another one some day.
