Want to know what is happening in your home and business at all times? The GX5000 is a 2.4 GHz portable wireless camera system that allows you to be in two places at once. The system consists of a black & white camera with a built-in microphone and a four-channel receiver. The camera sends audio and video signals to the receiver wirelessly. The camera and receiver can be placed up to 300 feet apart (clear line of sight). The GigaXtreme 5000 camera has built-in wall mounting hardware and a fully adjustable pan and tilt stand for free standing wall, desk or shelf placement. The swiveling heavy-duty bracket and adjustable camera-viewing angle make it possible to monitor any area. In addition, the adjustable directional high-gain antenna provides high quality performance. Unlike other cameras, the GX5000 can pick up images in near total darkness, by turning on the eight infrared LED lights, so you can watch your baby, patient or pet without disturbing them. The infrared LED lights give off a beam of light invisible to the naked eye. This portability allows you to plug the camera into any AC outlet. If no AC outlet is available, the camera can run on AA batteries (not included). This system includes one infrared camera and supports up to four cameras (a maximum of three cameras is recommended for best performance). The included receiver plugs directly into any TV, VCR, computer or DVR and can be set to auto-switching mode to automatically scan through all cameras at four or eight second intervals.
