This is camera #6 for me that shoots 1080p so I didn't have high expectations. I also paid very little for it. I already have a handheld Toshiba Camileo B10 that I love very much, so this was always intended to be a back up.
The first thing I noticed when I got it in the mail was how much it feels like a toy. Light, cheap plastic. My low expectations went down quite a bit lower at that point.
I did a video shoot last week and used all 6 cameras to make sure I didn't miss anything, tripods all around. Started this camera and later found out it had crapped out before I had the next camera going. When I came back to it later there was a frozen frame of static stuck on the screen until I finally pulled the batteries.
Haven't decided yet if I will try again with the camera. It might have been user error, but in order to shoot for more than a few minutes, I would need to buy new aaa batteries.
