This is a great product, does a wonderful job of picking up dust, cat hair (dog hair too, I'm sure), mud, any dry dirt on your hard surface floors. Better than any broom or dustmop. However, it can be hard to find. Today I found some at Target, sometimes I can find it at Wal-Mart. Look for it either on the top shelf or the bottom shelf....I usually have to look very carefully, it's so easy to miss. It is now called Swiffer Extra Large, NOT Swiffer Max. Same product, different name. I paid $7.49 at Target.

I was super happy with the x-lg sweeper until it became so hard to find the refill cloths. Indoor pets make this sweeper necessary. When one lives in a rural area, they just are not available. I hope Proctor & Gamble reads all these rating reviews. Please, please get the x-lg refills in stores again.

I love Swiffer Max. It is a great way to keep up on my hard surfaces on a daily basis. I flip it over and use both sides or use one side to dust after I have used one side to clean the floor.

This item seems to never be available in retail stores even though they advertise them as in stock. Amazon to the rescue...this is a great product because of it's larger size. The little dinky 10" cloths are a waste of time when you have large areas of wood floors to dust. The marketing people at Swifter are asleep at the switch and missing a great opportunity by not promoting and forcing their retail outlets to carry the product.

i love the xlarge swiffer refills but don't understand why i can't find them at any of the stores where the swiffer floor dusters are sold....when i ask i am told they have been discontinued however the floor dusters are still sold there...very inconvenient...but i will still continue to buy them over the internet

I love the Swiffer "Max" (which has apparently been renamed "Swiffer XL". ) I am a tall person, and my husband and children are tall. Not only does the larger cleaning surface on this swiffer do a better job, the handle is longer and more comfortable for us tall people! Please, give us a break and continue to provide the refill pads!!!!

I have been using the Swiffer-Max for years. Unfortunately the local supply of refills seems to be no more as I can no longer find the refills in any of my local stores or supermarkets. I have a feeling that they have been discontinued. However, the ones I bought here on line are exactly the real deal. Great product, love the larger size. Hopefully they will remain available.

These Xlarge swiffers are great but hard to find. It's a must have for large areas or whole house (for me). Time saver worth the extra$$

This was a "hard to find" product in my area. This is used on an extra wide Swiffer and does a nice job on Pergola flooring, especially when you own cats!

First of all, I am not one to sit down and complain about a product.If I don't like a product, I return it to the place of purchase or just don't buy it again.
But this is a case of really liking a fairly new product on the market, for which I am no longer able to find the refills that make the product so wonderful. Why are the Swiffer Extra Large Dry cloth refills no longer available? After hearing raves from friends, I had bought the whole kit and many refills over the last year or so and really love the product. I have mostly bare hardwood floors in my home and use at least one cloth every time I mop my floors. HOWEVER - we/I can no longer find the refills anywhere in our area !!! Have they ceased manufacturing them? I called the 800 number I found for the company and had a "wonderful" conversation with an 'a u t o m a t e d' voice who advised me to check with my local grocery stores as the company doesn't ship to private consumers. My grocery store said they can no longer get them in. No explanation was offered. Is anyone else annoyed by this ?
