Product Description

Changing your watch strap or buckle is a simple process that can change the look and feel of your favorite watch cheaply and easily - you just need to have the correct tool for the job! This spring bar tool is an "entry level" version for those of you who are changing a watch strap occasionally - for those with more demanding band changing needs we would suggest a more robust tool (ASIN: B00MO17PQ0 or ASIN: B00MO139UG).

This simple small tool is designed to allow quick and easy replacement of leather, silicon or other strap made of a pliable material (this tool is not for work with metal bracelets, please see ASIN: B00MO17PQ0 with a ¡¥fine¡¨ end for those) and is incredibly cost effective as it will allow you to change watch straps and buckles like a professional. The "V" end hooks spring bars to depress them easily in order to remove a watch band or a buckle, it will allow you to manipulate the spring bar pins accurately which will make attaching buckles to your band or bands to your watch very quick and easy. The pin end is ideal for pressing spring bars out of the watch band, depressing recess buttons or spring bars through access holes.

I worked briefly for a jewelry store, and put on a bunch of watch bands using tools like this. Since then I've struggled to do it at home using knife blades, picks, etc., because nobody carried this tool. Jobs that used to take 20 minutes of swearing are now easy.

I have no prior experience using a tool like this one. To remove a watch band from a 45 year old watch required more muscular effort than I expected. A lesser tool would have bent, crumpled or mangled. Not this one. It's worth every penny.

Does what it needs to do. The bar end broke off but it was my fault. The fork end does exactly what it needs to do for a nice value. Would recommend.

Been using a paper clip to "work on" my watches, but this little tool definitely has improved my efforts. Great price.

The SR Watch Spring Bar Jeweler Tool from Amazon Fits Marathon GSAR Automatic perfectly. The SE - Spring Bar Tool Set - 5in., 7 Pc from Amazon has one forked end narrower than this, and some wider, none of which fit my Marathon GSAR auto watch. The watch spring bar in the Anchor Brand Watchmakers Tool Kit is also too wide for my watch but is also the best made of the 3.

Trying to take off watchbands with a sharp knife is no fun. This tool works easily and efficiently. I enjoy using different bands as needed. I highly recommend everyone who has a watch with bands that occasionally need replacing to get this spring bar tool.

Where has this been all my life. Worked great on my Casio dives watch getting the pins out without them flying out.
