I was looking for the best price point for the quality and I have to say this is it. They are easy to install, and work just perfect.

I wasn't thinking when I got these. I just needed something to make $25 for free shipping. If you plan on using the same speaker cable forever, they are great. If you want to make changes in the future, get ones that you can reuse. As this add states, they are crimp on, not reuseable. Every crimp (failed or not) is about $1. These must cost about 2 cents to make. The markup on these things are incredible. It's that way eveywhere for banana connectors now. I may just wait for Walmart to start selling them. They are Sooo much easier to use though! That being said, this sale is about the cheapest with free shipping. 32 connectors shipped for $25 (when I got them). Parts Express is close, but shipping is not free.

The pack of plugs are great, they made a huge difference on the apperance and easy to change cables around if need be.
kind of expensive for what they are...but Amazon price was the best I could find anywhere.

Makes a great electrical connection for speaker wires when hooking to speakers. Also looks much neater and dresses up the appearance to a more proffesional look.

I replaced the ends of all of my speaker cables with these banana plugs. You will need a crimping tool to correctly attach these plugs. If your wire is thin, bend it double before inserting it into plug otherwise it will not hold well.

One-time use, crimp-on plugs.
When connecting/disconnecting the plugs, the plug may come out of the plastic rubber sleeve if you don't hold onto the actual plug.

these banana plug speaker connectors are a great value. easy to crimp on to wire (I double-crimped at 14-16 ga.). insulators slip on after crimping and fit tight. speaker connection snaps in tightly and look super clean. I jumped to buy these even though I didn't need sixteen, as Best Buy and Radio Shack prices for a pair were 6-8 dollars! Crazy! These are just as good.

Great product. As long as you have crimpers, these are no sweat! I couldn't see buying the pre-made banana plugs at the prices advertised. So I opted to buy these and spend the extra time and pay a fraction of the cost. My 18ga wire fit perfectly with room to spare. I believe it would have accommodated 16ga if need be. If you have the time to make your own connections. Do yourself a favor and use crimp on connectors.

I ordered these wondering what may be the difference between a $1.50 plug and a $10 plug. I got the answer I wanted after hooking a pair of speakers up. The sound was great and I couldn't imagine needing a more expensive connection (true for all my wires...HDMI, audio, coax...)

They were easy to install onto my 18awg wires, this may not be so easy if you are inexperienced with splicing/crimping. My advice to help install...when stripping only go back about a quarter inch making sure to leave enough casing on the wire to slide inside the connector. Give it a strong squeeze near the end of the connector with the casing inside.

You have to be slightly gentle when inserting because the rubber cover only slides over the tip, but no issues.
