The Sylvania SilverStar ULTRA High Performance Headlight is our brightest downroad and whiter light. The combination of our farthest downroad, more sideroad, and whiter light helps the driver achieve more clarity helping to make night driving a less stressful, more comfortable experience. Sylvania achieves this using a specially designed filament, propriety gas mixture as well as a lamp coating that makes a brighter downroad light and shifts the color temperature towards a whiter light.
From the Manufacturer
| Sylvania's SilverStar Ultra product line of halogen headlight bulbs are the ultimate choice for professionals and do-it-yourselfers who want and/or need to provide the whitest and brightest automotive lighting option possible to vehicles that they are servicing. The SilverStar Ultra 9005SU twin-pack contains two high performance halogen headlight bulbs which feature dramatic improvements over standard halogen bulbs, including up to 50% brighter light, 40% increased down-road visibility and up to 50% increased side-road visibility. Why You Should Upgrade to SilverStar Ultra |
It is an accepted fact that headlights can dim over time by 20% or more. When this dimming occurs, timely replacement of halogen bulbs can instantly increase lighting performance and resulting visibility, but all halogen bulbs are not created equal. The more light you can spread on the road, the better the visibility. With this in mind any driver looking to replace or upgrade their headlights should consider Sylvania's SilverStar Ultra line of halogen headlights bulbs. With a color temperature rated at 4100K (Kelvin), the level of whiteness of the light put out by SilverStar Ultra bulbs is close to that of an approximation of natural daylight at noon (4870K). Their level of brightness, the amount of light able to be reflected in a particular direction(s) or on particular spots, is also exceptionally high. Together these factors make SilverStar Ultra bulbs the whitest and brightest halogen headlights currently available. This increased lighting performance allows for dramatic improvements over standard halogen bulbs in various areas, including up to a 40% increase in down-road visibility, side-road visibility improvements up to 50% and overall increased brightness levels of light up to 50%. The result is a halogen bulb that allows drivers to see farther, wider and more clearly. Combine this with the SilverStar Ultra's D.I.Y. friendly plug and play installation, and you have a product line of bulbs that are a clear choice for any replacement or upgrade project. Key Features:
