5.0 out of 5 stars Remote access the easiest way, November 18, 2005
This review is from: SYMANTEC CLIENT VPN 8.0 MEDIA ( 10132709 ) (CD-ROM)
XP Users only.

Load VPN and upon launching it, it will ask you for a password. It actually grabs the password that you initially set-up for your computer when you bought it and went through the initial naming and registering process. Hopefully you will remember it.

It works like a dream, faster than pcAnywhere and safe to use, it's just like being at my computer at work. I should've done this years ago.

Make sure you get some IT support to help you set it up. It's a little complicated, but once running it needs no upkeep and is unbelievably convenient and just all around awesome.

Norton won't help you, unless you want to call INDIA and speak to someone who can't understand you (vice-versa), so get your local guru to help. ALSO, Norton will charge you for support these days, $35!!! PER ISSUE. As if it wasn't a monopoly cash-cow already..Bastards.
