I'm a japanese exchange student. she is very popular in Japan. My many friends in the U.S like her too. she is in the Komuro (who is a producer) family. Other singers in the same family are so good, too!

Suzuki Ami is quite a personality, and she's rather cute. But the album could be skipped. I do like "Love the Islands" and "White Key", but as for the other tracks, it is only Ami's cute voice that makes them listen-able. The songs are, well, forgettable.

I won't lie, but the first time you hear the songs in this album, you wont be much entertained except with the track 'in my diary' and 'kino, atsuku, motto, tsuyoku' (track 10). But after a while you're likely to be fond of the other songs that you'll play the whole album over and over again. Most of the songs makes me want to move. And her girlish voice really keeps me smiling.

Ami's voice may sound quite horrible in the beginning but you will find that it gets rather listenable after a while. I have bought this albumn 'cause Ami is very cute & popular. Tracks like "all night long", "white key" & "love the island" are great songs! P.S:Highly listenable albumn.

Her early stuff, a lil rough around the edges but still great. Sometimes she's classified as electronic sounding or Japanese POP.
