Be cautious, this set may not be what you're looking for - -,

This review is from: Sabatier Precision 2-Piece Stainless-Steel Carving Set (Kitchen)
This is a lightweight product. It doesn't feel good in the hand, but I don't think it will come apart or loosen. Sharp, but doesn't hold an edge well. After one hand washing, blade appears likely to stain. I own other Sabatier knives which are of a premium quality compared with this set, but for carving, this will do.

These will do the job but the feel isn't right. They are to light and not balanced the best. Also, they don't hold an edge well so you have to resharpen more often than with better quality products.

This review is from: Sabatier Precision 2-Piece Stainless-Steel Carving Set (Kitchen)
I bought these because of the name and the price. The name I associated with quality cutlery and the price, well... just couldn't be beat! This was a total impulse buy, I didn't need them, I haven't used them either but they came packaged so nicely and they have weight and style... I plan to keep them on hand for gift giving or at least until I need them myself. They may be hard to part with. Great item.
