My daughter is the musician in the family, I will say when the SMALL box arrived and I realized how much I paid for the SMALL box I was concerned!! Much to my suprise is her favorite cymbal thusfar!! Has great sound! Arrived right on schedule as ordered! Thanks so much!

this splash is amazing. nice, quick crip sound. the only thing i dont like is that it dosent cut threw like other splashes, but still great!!

i was at my local drum store (local isnt a 22 minute drive but ok) and i was checking out splashes. My final decision came down between this one and the B8 10" one. It was a hard decision. Ultimately, this the greatest sounding splash you'll ever hear, but it doesnt cut through the music i play as much as the B8 one, so i went with the B8 one. If i ever get a second splash though, this one would definetly be the one. No questions asked. If you play jazz or softer music than rock, this is the splash for you.

This is THE cymbal if you want the tight, quick, warm splash you hear Dave Weckl use as an accent in fills and occaionally at the end of a phrase. This IS NOT a hard rock cymbal that will cut through a heavy white noise live setting. I use this live in a fusion, smooth setting and it records from the board great and I have been told the articulation from the FOH is excellant. In recording sessions it sounds exactly how I would have wanted it to sound. I highly recommend this and the other Evolution cymbals Weckl has had a hand in developing for Sabian. The ride is exceptional, the crashes are really warm with just the right amount of attack and decay. If you are looking for the right smooth jazz, fusion, prog rock cymbal check this one out ( look at the larger splash as well 10" and 12". I have thousands of dollars in Zildjian cymbals and have played that brand since I started playing. I would never have imagined changing to Sabian...until the Evolution series. I have them all over my kit now and love them... I have all of my K dark and older sets sitting in cases. ( eBay anyone)
