One of the best rides out there!, July 21, 2011

I'd consider myself mostly a rock guy, with some blues, jazz, latin and other chops. I've owned tons of rides from a K Constantinople 22", to a 20" Earth ride, to a 21" Paiste Signature Dry Heavy and even an Agop. But this has been one of my favorite rides ever for just pure musicality and versatility. It's like a medium ride that's not too poingy, or a rock ride that tempered down a bit. Unlike the other reviewer, I don't feel this ride is too quiet and in fact when I lay into that sweet bell, it's enough to make you flinch. So unless you're used to a Z Mega Bell or a manhole cover for your ride, you'll love that this is a more controllable, more musical version of a medium ride. Its even got a nice washy/ride sound if you're really trying to kill your hearing. Very enjoyable, dare I say GROOVY pie!!

A beautiful cymbal, February 28, 2011

Very jazzy, very pretty, very expressive. A great cymbal with lots of versatility. My only complaint is that I wish it was a tiny bit louder. It sounds so great, it has changed the way I play somewhat. It calls out like a siren, beckoning you to strike it, luring you away from your hi-hats. I am very satisfied.
